All of our best with your upcoming litter. I will suggest you read a few of the threads on the breeder section for information also. As a Mom-to-be also, I can feel your nervousness, but as other say, do't let it be past on to Alexis. Our Lexie is on day 59 today, and is carrying a littler of 8 or 9 according to the xray. I have the ingredients for whelping pudding and and an after whelping treat for the Mother. You can get these recipes in the breeding section. I got goats milk right at the grocery store in both the dairy dept and in the canned milked dept. I will post more a little later, breakfast is being served!!!!

WELCOME to Barb and Alexis and Congratulations on the new family

I am sure that you will get tons of great advice from some of our very knowledgeable and caring breeders. My suggestions are the standard....

1) Notify your vet of the impending birth.

2) Be sure that you have an emergency plan and someone to help you get her to the vet speedy quick if you need to go

3) Please do not leave Alexis alone for more than a few minutes from now until the time the pups are born.

4) Have nutrical available for an extra "boost" for Alexis - just in case.

5) Try to relax and enjoy the miracle to come. Thousands of Yorkie pups are born each day without complications. For the most part you don't hear the "my birth gave birth, no problems" stories because that is the expected. We hear the horror stories.
