| I get Bridget the Healthy Edibles bones at Petsmart. She LOVES them. Bacon flavor seems to be the favorite. |

| Okay now I have to know what they REALLY are? Tell me... I also do cow hooves and cow tendons, they LOVE them! I've tried the healthy edibles but they don't go over as well. I"m going to try the bully sticks too. |

I get the Pixie Stix from KathrynV at BeyondSpoiled. They are a great size, no yucky smell and a good price. I always get them for our GE buddy, too!!! And - aren't we supposed to be getting together sometime?????? You're only about 15 miles from me. I could bring Zoey a Pixie Stix...............................

| I buy plain white bones from the pet store. I belive they are beef bones. They come in many sizes. That is the only bone I give to Buddy now. I smear peanut butter in one when I leave in the morning and every Fri night while I eat Pizza he get his cheese bone. I fill the bone with a piece of 2% cheese. He sucks on that for about 1/2 hr and I eat in piece. I do not trust any bone or chewable on the market. |

| No, but maybe it's Paula I'm thinking of. Is she in Monroe, too?? The more the merrier. There will be a meet-up on July 28th in St. John's (we have a very active meet-up group). It is at Patti's house (SissyandNika) and she is having a camp-out sleepover. We're not staying cause we don'c do camping, but I believe Linda (FancyPants) and I will be driving there for a few hours. It is about a 2 hour drive for us but so much fun we do it regularly.........

| Tede loves them... I give him to him 20 a.m. (so I can have coffee in peace )20.before bed. but tede has tummy problems. the vet keeps saying it is the flossies. I dont think so.. I still think all of his problems were nutro. o.k. I will be gross for a minute. does the flossies make your dogs poop mucusy ? sorry. also its hard when its his total obsession. he just waits with big eyes.just something i did... When he was so sick and only got chicken and rice and a little cheese. I would boil rice and chicken, cool it, then prosses it with a little no fat cream cheese till it was sticky. Then jammed it in a butcher bone that was cleaned. So even when he was sick he could get a chewy treat. also the pig ears are o.k.? I really thought they stuck to tummies not digestible. julie |

| Yes -- I actually buy the shank not just the bone. I throw the shanks (with the bone) included in the crockpot for dinner (human) -- usually a beef vegetable soup and then give the doggies the bone. Below is a pic of the beef shanks and I'll even include a recipe ![]() BEEF SHANK VEGETABLE SOUP 2 lbs. beef shank 1 lg. tomato 1 clove garlic 1 sprig fresh parsley 1 green onion 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1/2 lb. carrots, peeled and cut in chunks 2 med. potatoes, cut in chunks 1/2 bell pepper, cut in sm. chunks 1 package frozen mixed vegetables 1 10 ounce package frozen okra Trim the meat and put in a large pot with 5 quarts cold water. Add the tomato, garlic, salt, pepper, and onion; let stand 15 minutes. Bring to boil quickly, then cover and let simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Remove meat from the bone -- save bones for Yorkies. Add potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, mixed vegetables and okra. Cover pot and cook at medium heat for 45minutes longer.
