| Thank you all so much for the great suggestions. I love the bone-shaped toy box, especially because you can personalize it and it's low enough that he can jump in, get a toy and jump out! |

| I don't know if you have a Tuesday Morning where you live but they have the cutest canvas boxes, one was large and low. I am going to keep checking back to see if they have my color come in, when i went they only had it in a South Beach type pattern. Mignon chews her toy basket too so I was looking for an alternative. |

| I too use an old laundry basket, the rectangle one, for the boys toys. easy for them to climb into or reach into to get their toys, although when Benni does not want to share, he simply sleeps on top of all the toys so Garett cannot get any. If you want your dogs to stay away from your good wicker, rub clear antiperspirant on the wicker, it works and your dogs will not go near it. Buy it cheap at the 99 cent store or discount store. Did it to my wood furniture and no chewing. Also one application lasts like forever. It seems that once they get that taste, they never go near it again. |

| I bought one of those collapseable mesh laundry baskets and got it at the dollar store! When Maddie was smaller, she would get in it and run, just like a hamster in a ball. It was so funny! Now she is too big to do it well, so we just keep toys in it and I lay it on it's side and she'll crawl in there and just play inside it sometimes. I cut off the handles so that I didn't have to worry about her hanging herself. |

| I gave up trying to put toys away. Although I like the mesh hamper idea. I got one like that also but I keep shoes in it. I will try it your way. when i try to do laundry Ahia will steal socks when i am not looking and take one under the coffee table and come back for another one. she steals them and has more in her pile than i do in mine. she is such a thief.

That is absolutely one of the cleverest ideas I've seen. (Gonna have to go out and search for one of these things!) To date, we've used an orange crate type tying...like what you could use for record albums (those of you old enough to even remember record albums )I do, however, love the idea of a mesh crate that one can turn on its side. Heck, I bet with that I can train Molly (my gatherer) to pick things up and put them away. As things are right now she tries to gather all the toys left around by others and put them on the love seat. (Yesterday, she had managed to get 9 of them up there...totally out of reach of Mackenzie...) Thanks for the good idea! | |
