| Donating YT 500 Club Member | I dunno. I am SO equal rights about everything and try to be such a well-rounded and open-minded person, that I hate to be guilty of such a double standard, but ... NO BOWS on my boy! Ozzie would hate it anyway, but even so.I do, however, keep a very open mind about others doing it. If you like it, great! And so much the better if you have a pup that WANTS it. With our first Yorkie, when we took him to the groomer would always tell them NO BOWS. Sometimes, they did it anyway and poor Scruff, he hated it so much. He would begin slamming his head down to get it off the second he got in the car. |

| I'm with you Nicole, even masculine bows aren't for my boys. Even if I tried, my boys would roll, rub, fuss til they got them out. I think it's adorable, but my guys refuse to cooperate.

| According to the AKC. Standard it doesn't specify that only the females wear the topnots, males as well. Artie wears a ponytail or if we're going some where special it's in a topnot with a bow or a crown barette and I only put masculine colors and designs on him at all times, so it's very clear that he is a "Male". I also braid his tail and put a bow at the end of it that usually coordinate's with his outfit.....yes I dress him too! During the Xmas Season, I put a tiny bell on his tail. I make it a point now to have all 3 (1 male & 2 females) to wear a topnot and I'm growing out all their hair/coats to be long, instead of "Puppy cuts". They seem to look prettier and prance around more? I do all of their Grooming myself, I did it at first to save money but know it's because I don't trust anyone else to do it. So now it's a matter of pride since they represent me! Go Yorkies, Aloha |

| I do Ryo's hair once a day ... no bow. People still think he is a girl when they first meet him. That doesn't bother me.. One time someone asked if he was a girl and another passerby was like most yorkies have long hair so u have to get it out of their face whether they are a boy or a girl! Maybe i can figure out a way to make a bow manly like in a bandanna style or lil hat.. I dunno , i think a bandanna would be cool if someone could make it work. |

| I put a top knot in Jake's hair once just to keep it out of his eyes. He was having none of that, and he got it out within about 3 secnds. So, we just keep the hair trimmed instead. He doesn't like clothes either, so I don't make him wear them. He just likes to run around naked lol He did, however, seem to like having clothes on when the weather was colder. He would keep his PJs on at night. Otherwise, he takes his clothes off |

| If I ever have a little boy yorkie, his hair will always be in a ponytail - probably mostly with a bow. His bow would probably match whatever outfit I had on him - so mostly blue, red, green, black, etc. If he was wearing a pink shirt, I probably wouldn't put a pink bow in his hair - just a ponytail. I have no problem with having a girly boy but a pink bow might make him look a little too much like a girl. I would want him to wear boy clothes and have boy bows.

| Slade gets a bow in his hair. Mom hates it, but slade isn't her dog so she just has to deal. Strangers think he is a girl, but I don't care. He has a set of sports bows and a set of blues ones and some american ones as well. Most days I just put a plain latex band in. Here are the ones I ordered recently. THe sellers may have more up. Both sellers were fantastic .http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270117593958 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=320127773762 |

| Because he's a metrosexual, and wants to get his little "Diggy groove on" with Livi. Plus, he's surrounded by women. He gets an estrogen overdose on a daily basis!! You know I'm kidding. If you think he needs a testosterone "intervention" (one of your favorite shows), I'll be glad to keep him for you for the next few years!!! He can hang with his boooyzzzzz Otis and Oliver. They can watch football, chase chicks, and scratch themselves on the couch.
