NO BOWS on my boy! Ozzie would hate it anyway, but even so.

I do, however, keep a very open mind about others doing it. If you like it, great! And so much the better if you have a pup that WANTS it.

With our first Yorkie, when we took him to the groomer would always tell them NO BOWS. Sometimes, they did it anyway and poor Scruff, he hated it so much. He would begin slamming his head down to get it off the second he got in the car.
I think the little boys look cute in boy bows but I can't bring myself to put a bow in Max's hair. In fact, when I took him to a groomer years ago, she put a bow in his hair. She wasn't his normal groomer, who always put a cool bandanna on him, and I was so disappointed that he came out wearing a bow. The groomer was all excited because it matched his harness but poor Max was so miserable, pawing at this foreign object in his hair. I didn't want to be rude so I said nothing, but the bow came out as soon as we got in the car. When Max went for a grooming 2 months later (with his regular groomer) I asked her nicely not to put a bow in his hair. She said, "boys generally don't get bows here--they get bandannas." Obviously, the other groomer must have been new or something...but Max has not worn a bow in his hair since that tragic day , and I'm sure that he is completely thrilled about that
