| ![]() Sometimes they quit all together but unfortunately Otis didn't. Although it did decrease significantly. I use potty pads so I have 2 "hiking posts" in their potty pad room. He does sometimes mark. I think if you contain them while your away, either gated in the kitchen or bath, that would help a lot. He doesn't do it while I'm home!! Good luck. Have you thought about belly bands until he's neutered? My boys wear them when we go to visit other peoples homes just so in case they smell something interesting.

| ![]() I've started to catch Paddington lifting his leg now too. He is exactly four months. He marked the steps leading to our patio, the wall next to his pee pad (repeatedly- what are these posts, Paulapoo???) and my dad's chair at the head of the dinner table... ![]() I'm hoping it stops when we get him neutered. I'm going to talk to the vet about it when we go in on Saturday for his boosters. -O

| ![]() my sister's dog is about 4 months old when he started marking and hiking his legs to pee. she got him neutered at 4 and a half months and it stopped the marking and hiking immediately and she said it was so much better to potty train him after he was neutered. |
