| We got Lily at around 7 weeks. I'm sure it was probably too young but she is doing great and adjusted very well. She was also 2.5 pounds which is a lot bigger than most 7-8 week old yorkies (I think). I would say just do what you feel is right. Maybe try to wait a week or two. If you don't get a good 'vibe' from this lady...look elsewhere. Goodluck with whatever you choose!

| I don't want to stir anything up but why does he keep getting banned? I don't see anything wrong with the question. It is for good reasons that the question was asked. |

| Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | I got Diggy at the same exact age, this is just my experiance....He had 7 seizures in 7 hours the 4th night I had him......he was stressed, too young to be from mom, tiny, and blood sugar dropped. After about 400 bucks worth of tests...ruling out liver problems and all He was diagnosed Hypoglycemic VERY common in puppies.....So from there you HAVE to make sure they eat every 4 hours that means setting your alarm getting them up and fighting a tired puppy to eat....you work all day and noone would be able to do this. So I was told by my vet at 12 weeks he had probably outgrown it and I could relax he had gained alomst 2 pounds and was getting big so we agreed he was out of the hypo stage....well that very night after letting him sleep 7 hours straight woke up at 7 am in a seizure....SO with this being said, for your puppys safety and your sanity DONT DO IT it's just too young. I do not wish what I went thru on anyone! You will stress yourself to no end, your puppy will suffer, and it's pure laziness for the woman u r getting her from to sell her at 7 weeks. My breeder (self proclaimed breeder) did the same thing to me....I would seriously rather pay her 800 and have her keep her longer for you rather than I paid 800 for Diggy originally....so now Id say with all the follow up and extra vet visits...I am wayyyyy over 1,300 for this lil guy all because the lady didnt want to deal with him any more and I didnt know better. I do comend you for asking first though...I wish I had....He was my second yorkie just like you too.... Good luck and kisses to Tanner! Cool name btw....my 11 year old sons name....where did you get it?

| It is against the rules of this site to have two different usernames. Also, he wasn't banned for this question, he was banned for his very offensive previous posts.

| My guess is someone turned him in. I think admin has rules about making new user names when you get banned and it isnt allowed. I have never read any of his posts so I dont know why he got banned in the first place. |

| I know that you've already been banned but hopefully you're still reading posts. Here's your answer, short and to the point. If you bring home a pup that is barely 7 weeks old, with your schedule, she WILL die. No ifs or maybes about it. Those posters who have brought home a puppy at 7 weeks had more time to take care of their puppy and did not have your schedule. You cannot leave a 7 week old puppy alone for 10 or 12 hours at a time. I just rescued an 8 week old puppy and she had to be fed every 2-3 hours. Since I do work, my mother was able to take care of her when I working otherwise I never would have taken on the responsibilty. You need to wait until you can find one that is a little older if you really must get another one.

| It is against YT rules to have more than one account for obvious reasons. I have pasted the rules below. If you personally attack another member, your account will be suspended for a period of SEVEN DAYS where you will NOT have access to your YorkieTalk account. You will not be able to PM anyone, post new threads or reply to threads, or go to YorkieTalk chat. If you try to cirumvent this by creating another account to post or reply to messages, we will find out and both accounts will be PERMANENTLY BANNED. Depending on the severity of your actions, a first time offense may lead to a permanent ban. We do not allow discussions of suspensions or bans of any specific member. If you attack a member again, you will be suspended for a period of TWENTY ONE DAYS. If it happens again after that, you will be PERMANENTLY BANNED FOREVER from YorkieTalk. For more serious offenses, you may be banned from YorkieTalk immediately after a first offense. |
