| Going to soon be tearing up the carpet here in the living room/dining room too and redo the floors and I can't wait.

| Just the beginning of this year we took ALL carpet out of our house and had tile put down. It looks so nice, is easy to keep clean, and smells much better in our house.

| we did... We have almost the whole house done in either laminate flooring or tile. There is carpeting upstairs in the family room, but the dogs don't roam freely there. Our next house will likely have laminate and tile mostly, with carpet or hardwood upstairs in the bedrooms, but not sure. We will begin building next year, I think, so I will have some time to think about it. deb |

| I currently have tile at the entry and wet areas in my house and carpet everywhere else. Before Buttercup was potty trained, he peed on the carpets a few times from missing the pad. I don't think I will be replacing it because my house is up for sale right now. I am in the process of building my new house and I have chosen hardwood flooring instead of carpet because I fear that he will potty in the house because of new surroundings. |

awww, that is so sweet what you did with the windows .. ... my new Yorkie (Friday) has been eating the grout in between the tiles in the kitchen ... did that happen to anyone else? Can she get sick from it? And how in the world do I replace it? She will probably think I prepared a new meal for her. So far I have using duct tape to cover it. How classy is that??? **sigh**

| I had all white burber carpeting throughout my house and about 2 weeks after I got Louie I tore it all up! Thankfully we had beautiful hardwoods underneath that did not need to be re-done.....I still had a white plush carpet in one of the bedrooms and THAT became their FAVORITE pee area so just a couple of weeks ago I had it torn up and had the hard wood underneath re-done! Best thing I ever did.....no more "peepee" smell! I love it!

| When I bought my house last May, it had carpeting all the way thru. I already had Lucy, and when I got Rebel I pulled it up in the living, dining room and down the hall and put down laminate. I love it and I am considering putting laminate in my bedroom also.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I have carpet in my whole apartment and I can't put tile or hardwood floors because i'm renting. Bengi has been doing ok with the potty thing and I'm done good with the cleaning after him, so the carpets don't smell and they don't have stains either. Also, he's potty area is in the kitchen, which is tile, and the pad is in a litter box, in case the pee goes under the pad. |

| Belly Band? Currently, our apartment is all laminant flooring which is perfect while we potty train. I agree about the area rugs though. We have one in the bathroom and another in the bedroom and Eury is convinced they are the perfect place to pee. And since she started the cats compete with her and pee on it as well. OY! LOL One question though... what is a belly band? Chelle |

| I went with the concrete floors too. Just ripped up the carpet and painted the concrete. He still pees now and then but it's easy to clean and it keeps there is no smell once it's cleaned up.
