I was in Northern California last Saturday when this happened and I got the news while eating my breakfast. I could think of very little else for the rest of the day..I was so sad. I was in Sacramento for my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary.

I heard that they are now considering legislation there to outlaw this breed as well. I don't think it's the fault of the breed either, but as long as you have people who will abuse the breed by training it to behave this way, there will always be dangerous dogs. Why it is so common with this breed I believe does have something to do with their inborn and innate teancity. They do not give up!
