| OMG, Roxee is ADORABLE!!! And she looks like nothing OTHER than a Yorkie! And anyone who's got a Yorkie would recognize that, for heaven's sake . Not only that, she's not BIG....My Max is between 5 and 6 lbs (and everyone says he's SMALL)...depending on whether we're exercising or not, LOL. AND he's a LOT darker than Roxee is.....anyone who knows anything about Yorkies knows that there's a big color variation and they're all different. Some are just more "blue", some have more black and tan, some are more blonde.....and some people are just annoying, LOL! I hope whatever was wrong with your baby is all better now; she's a real beauty!

Roxee is feeling fine. She was spayed on the 7th of June and yesterday morning she had blood in her urine. It was a small urinary tract infection. They did an ultrasound and urinalysis (sp???) and there are no stones, just a little infection. She is taking antibiotics and is as good as new!!! Thanks guys!! Thea and Roxee

| Oh...I meant to add that I have Max cut in a sort of Puppy cut/ Westie cut/ which sort of looks like how Roxee is clipped too...only I have them shave Max's body and belly so he's really smooth and silky(partially b/c it's so HOT here, and partially b/c he loves to get into the water and then the sand ).....I've occasionally looked at him and thought he sort of resembles a mini schnauzer.....I think it's just the cut that sometimes makes people think that's what they might be, if they're not really knowledgeable about different breeds. I think a lot of people think of the long flowing tresses as what they'd expect a Yorkie to look like. I had to laugh about the lady who kept commenting on the other girl's Yorkie looking like a Schnauzer b/c she's got poodles and thinks they're superior ....I think they're all cute, but I'm SO HAPPY to have a Yorkie

This last time I took her to the groomers, the new girl gapped up her top knot, so it has been staying up until it grows. Hope this helps!!! Thea and Roxee

| Stupidity I taught for many years, and one very wise man once told me to never underestimate the power of stupidity to dirive people's actions and comments. My little Lolly weighs 5.75lbs., and my darling departed Mac weighed 7lbs. Next time somebody makes a mating comment, tell them your dog isn't a tramp and doesn't even kiss until the 3rd date. If you see the woman with the 2.9lb. yorkie again, tell her you thought about it, but her little boy isn't man enough for your girl. I pity that poor dog having a nitwit for an owner. |

| She is not big and that silly person just wanted to make herself feel better. Pay not attention and only someone who is rude would think they have the right to even comment. Think of what she says about human babies?

| Sista Thea -- Roxie is absolutely PERFECT! She looks like the picture of health -- even WITH a uti.... It sounds like this person was one of those unhappy sorts who "build themselves by putting others down." I am sorry for her that she is such an unhappy person. Shame on her for being unkind. |

| When I was out with Davie one day last week, a woman with a bigger dig, maybe a bull dog?, asked me how much I paid for my dog. No hi, nice day, nothing....just how much did you pay for your dog? I was taken back, and I said "Not enough!" On the size.....I have 3 Yorkies...Harley is 4.5, Davie is about 4, and Lexie is 6 pounds when not pregnant. Right now she is a waddling 9 pound, with 5-6 puppies healthy and growing inside her. I raise healthy Yorkies, and that does not mean that they are under 5 pounds. Not everyone wants or should have those tiny Yorkies, some of us love them just a little bigger! I love my babies, if you can not tell.
