| Dexter is home!!! although i am not dexter's mommy (i am his aunt so to speak)...he has been home for a little over a week. the first day we got him he was really shy and wouldn't eat or drink anything. that has all changed...he no longer lacks in the eating department and me and my sister were wondering if we were feeding him too much...how much is enough??? also although he has never pooped in the house, he continues to have accidents. even though we watch for signs when he has to pee and take him out he will just run around and look for grass and sticks to eat. as soon as we bring him in he will go to the potty (pee). does he think it is okay to go inside...cause we do not get mad at him...we just clean it up....i just think its weird that he will poop but not pee outside i did have some pics to post but apparently the file size of the pics is too large...so i will have to resize them on my computer...as my sister's does not seem to be capable of this??? (can you tell i know crap about computers) |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hi and welcome home Dexter.... Don't know what to tell you about the feeding - usually you follow what the breeder says then gradually increase it. I would say it depends on how big he is and how active. I think I fed my girls twice a day as puppies then free-fed..... and on the accidents - they have TINY bladders as puppies and can practically go every 1/2 hour - I'd get him on his pad or outside as often as once an hour if you're really serious about training....I remember my Chanel was trained in less than 2 weeks on a pad - Cheri took 11 months LOL To make sure your pictures are not huge and resize them...This is one of the easiest program on the net to resize your pics....http://bluefive.pair.com/free95.htm Scroll to PixResizer……Download the program..it’s really small and very easy to install – Depending on the size of your image you just have to click ONE SIZE (USUALLY 50%) or 460 Pixels and it resizes it for you... |
