Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let you know Papi phoned us late last night, he didn't know the time schedule of the surgery today but his daughter is to call us afterwards and I will come on and post to you then.

I have never known anyone to be so very stressed as what Papi has been going through, prayers are so much needed for him as he gets through this.

PattiCake has been wonderful for him. I am sure is what has kept him on his legs taking her for walks. He told us how difficult it has been for him to walk and that his legs have been so weak, so many thanks to little PattiCake as she has kept him moving, God truely brought her into Papi's life at the right time. HE so does know our needs. Your prayers have meant so much to him, he loves this group of wonderful people here at YT and he said to say thank you from his whole heart.

He mentioned last night that PattiCake gets at the top of his head and sleeps on his pillow, she is really his hearts delight. I will come back later when we get the phone call, only have one phone line.

Someone here at YT has sent Papi a card every week since he found out about his illness and I just want to let the person know this has meant so much to him. He misses you all so much, he said he is looking forward to being able to come back to his family here at yorkie talk. Thanks to everyone that has sent Papi a card, he has appreciated each and all.

Dear Lord,
We thank you for caring for and getting Papi through this surgery that he undergoes today, please give him comfort of mind and body, be with his physicians and guide them in their hands doing the procedure. We know you are the greatest physician of all and we ask in Jesus name for a complete healing and recovery for Papi, In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Amen to that prayer. Papi I wish you the best today with your surgery. I am so glad Patticake came to you when she did and she is your reason for going and getting stonger after you get home. I have faith that all will be fine and you will have many many happy tales to add here on YT.

Just received phone call from Papi's daughter, the Dr.s said Papi's surgery all went well. He is in recovery now.

I will phone his daughter back this evening to get update, will post after I talk with her this evening.

Prayers for God's healing powers for Papi.
He knows you all are praying for him, he said to Jack and myself each time we have talked with him that he feels each and all your prayers and thanks you all ever so much for them.

So glad the surgery went alright today, it will take time to heal and get your strength back Papi, but Patti Cakes will be the leader of the band to get you up and moving.. you'll be anxious to get out of the hospital so you can see that little furball!!

This is the most wonderful news...Thank you so much Patti for keeping us all up to date. Now that we know his surgery went well...he will need some time to recover, I pray that he has a full and speedy recovery. Patticake will see to that...and remember Kassie Kisses is watching over him, to be sure her Papi is well taken care of. Thank You God for a successful surgery, continue to guide Papi through his recovery and bring him back to good health...and his family here on YorkieTalk, Papi...I have missed you so much!!!

I phoned Papi's daughter this evening but she was at the hospital and couldn't talk, she sounded so very, very tired, I know both Papi's daughters are needing our prayers too, as this has been an ordeal for them also.

I phoned the hospital just prior to coming on, talked with a nurse at the
nursing station on Papi's floor, of course they couldn't give me any update which is understandable..... however I did give her our name and asked her to relay to Papi that we're all praying for him. It would be almost one a.m. there, she said she was going into his room soon and would tell him for us all.

Thank the Lord for overseeing the Dr.s as they did what needed to be and getting Papi through this serious surgery. Papi we are claiming that all is going well and everything is going to be fine.

I will come back tomorrow and post if I have any further update.

Wemple2 (Kathy), Ozzies Person, CO_YorkieMomma, Connie, Corinne, Lori, and each and all the others of wonderful folks here, I truely believe it is through all the support from you that has helped Papi so much, over these past couple of months I have emailed him numerous of your posts by copying and pasting, I just couldn't help but feel it was something needed to help him these past couple months, as he was just not able to get into YT and type. Bless each of you for your love and caring for Papi, what a difference you all have made in his life along with precious PattiCake, sooooo

Hi Everyone,
Phoned the hospital a bit ago, was told Papi was released early this afternoon, so he most likely is home resting now and enjoying the snuggles of PattiCake, these little yorkies feel the times we aren't up to par and seem to want to comfort us that much more. Jack tells me all the time how much comfort our girls are to him.

Papi we're all looking forward to you being back posting to everyone again soon.

Prayers for you to bounce back and be up and feeling your good ole self again before long Papi.
