| What do you do with your dog when you're sick? I've been sooo sick all day today; I think I may have strep throat. I came home from work and Paddington was ready to go on our walk, and wanted to play but all I could do was sleep. I've been sleeping since 7:30pm (it's now 3:00 am) and I had to put him in his kennel because he was unleashing his puppy wrath on the house. I feel so guilty that he's been in there so long (even though he likes his kennel) He is sleeping now and won't get up to go potty because he sleeps like a rock, so it mustn't be too big a deal for him but still... thank goodness I got him a new bully stick yesterday. that thing was a lifesaver today! What do you guys do with your babies when you're too sick to play? -O

| Eury's puppy toys are wonderful for that as is my husband. But Eury herself is so attune to me. Recently I got a bit of food poisoning and was quite ill. After my husband left for work, I thought I would wake to find the house destroyed. Nope, what I found was a puppy sticking close to momma and sleeping with her. In general though when I can't play with her for one reason or another I simply make sure she has her toys or my husband is around and she's a happy camper. Chelle |

| I force myself to get out of bed long enough to feed Gracie and make sure her pee pad is not too full. Other than that, she somehow knows I am sick and won't leave my side other than to use her pee pad for a sec.

| I make my bed up on the couch in the living room and the puppies end up sleeping with me all day, occasionally hopping down to play or use their pee pads. They are very good nurses and give me little puppy kisses whenever I open my eyes

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I still get up to feed them, etc. I would ask someone to walk them if I can't, like my bf. When I was sick a couple months ago, I couldn't even get out of bed. Teddy stayed with me the whole time in my bed. He was such a good care taker.

| Sounds like he's being a good little guy for his mommy. It does get easier as they get older- they do seem to understand. Hope you feel better!

| My husband will feed Conner before he goes to work (I usually do that when I'm feeling well). He will also let him outside to do his business. When my husband leaves for work, he puts Conner up on the bed with me (with one of his flossies) and he will stick on the bed until I get up or my husband gets home. He knows when I am sick. I will get up no matter how sick I am to go in his pen to go potty.
