You know I didn't want to be a butt but I thought the same thing when she first started posting. Honestly I still question it. If I had read (like she states she has) those posts made by my bf there is no way I wouldn't be mad and take his side. When this all first started happening I went and read all the posts he has made while being on YT and I was very angry and what he said and how he came across to everyone that he was asking help of.

Oh I didn't mean to be mean or anything:eek: Just seemed like a possibility to me. I questioned it too, and I agree with what you said.

Perhaps you won't be as rude as he is??????????

Hi Heidi. Welcome to YT. Your boyfriend was given tons of great advice already and I'm glad to see you might be more receptive to it. The large crate might work for some people (as was posted) but it's obviously not working for Tanner. I know it's tough when they're puppies but your little guy really needs more time with you. Please, please find a better alternative than locking him up with his own waste for 20 hours a day. I think you can tell that has upset most of us.

I have been quite upset with these postings, as most people have noticed. Nikki+2, Thank you for being quite the lady and speaking what was in all our hearts. I think I just got so wrapped up in the rudeness of the other postings, that I did not even give Heidi a chance. Thank you for getting me back on the "right road" and in the "right frame of mind."

Heidi, please ask for all the help you need with little Tanner...we all want him and you to be happy!:thumbup: :)

I think what Heidi was trying to say is her stand on rehoming has not changed and they have no desire to even consider it.

My personal feeling in regards to all the posts here and about Nodak has been a huge, HUGE, misunderstanding and it's gotten out of control. After reading all (and I mean ALL) the threads and posts, I feel (and this my opinion) some things have been taken out of context. Unfortunately, I was ashamed and embarrassed by some of the comment and replys made by YT veterans.

I think both Chris and Heidi loves Tanner and they want to do their best to be great Yorkie parents. So, that being said, lets leave the past behind us and move on the the future and help them with the Good-Ole Yorkie Talk Spirirt!

I agree, I think it got out of hand somewhere along the way. I really think he came to get advice, and it just went back and forth.

I also agree, but I kept my mouth shut cause I don't like to start trouble. This is a place where ppl can come for information and help and I hope they get that.

I think its always hard when you're partner is maybe not so keen on the dog. I've now trawled through the threads and posts by Nodak and I have to say that I agree with whats been said, many things were taken out of context and emotions ran high... Quite understandably. After all this is a community of Yorkie lovers!

My boyfriend was not keen on a dog. Infact it took two years and some terrible life changing events to get him to agree. I researched to find a dog breed I would be able to cope with and I just love Yorkie's! Anyway, the week before I brought home Lilly he kept saying things like "this will be your dog, don't expect me to play with a hairy rug rat." etc.

I was a complete nervous wreck! Not only was I bringing home a new pup for the first time in my life but I was afraid my boyfriend wouldn't like her. All my worries were needless, no sooner did I enter the house with Lilly was he fussing her and in love with her. Now I almost get jelous of her! JOKE!! I love how caring he is with her and how he adores her as much as I do. But I am the mom and I do the discipline, training and primary care and he just plays with her. Which is great!

Anyway, Heidi, my advice, love tanner, he will never disappoint you he will just love you unquestioning. If Chris tends to come across like an ar**e well, thats possibly just his style. The YT members really do post great advice and they did so to Chris too. At the end of the day, noone here will be able to give you a magic potion and everything will be just hunkydory. You have to put in the work and I'm sure you will.

It's funny, but I don't really see how Nodak was overly rude:( I may have missed that post, however:laugh: My take on it is that he has a sarcastic sense of humor, as I do. I do, though, most of the time, refrain from posting my smart-alecky comments and rephrase so that I don\'t hurt anyone\'s feelings.

Whatever the case, he came here for support, and if he didn\'t care for the pup, he would not have bothered. My hubby didn\'t want us to get Isabella, but now he\'s totally in love with her and can\'t imagine ever letting her go:love: These little furfaces tend to melt even the most hard hearts:D
