I can't even imagine what you are feeling right now when you found out that Zeke is most likely in that house !
I don't know what I would do but I know my husband would not wait it out. He would end up staking out that house and confronting the guy,probably ending up in my hubby getting arrested but he would insist that these people lied and that the little boy said that this was the dog that they have!

I really can't wait to hear that Zeke is cradled in your arms, not letting him go for hours.

It sounds like these people know that this dog is loved and they are just being selfish to want to keep it! I could never do that to any pet owner! I love my furbabies so much that I can imagine how pet owners with lost pets must be living a nightmare searching for their loved pets

I wish there was a way that you could talk to these people's neighbors to see if they can confirm that Zeke is the dog that they have seen there...
I know it could backfire because the neighbor might tell them that you've been asking questions ...

If this guy intentionally has Zeke knowing he is missing and saw the Flyer.He should go to jail!

PS I went to Petaluma (Sonoma County) during the 4th of July. If I was there today, I would jump in my rental car, drive over and help you look for Zeke.

But I think Maureen should go door to door handing out flyers and asking questions. She's already told this guy there was a sighting in his neighborhood...it wouldn't look suspicious at all, he knows she's looking for her dog, and won't give up til she finds him. I also think Maureen should go door to door in the Grandmas neighborhood too...the more the merrier...and somebody is going to squeal for the reward...it's a very good offer, one most people will not refuse. Maureen this is not over yet...we will find Zeke and he will come home and soon.

Okay, it's 1:24 am here and my daughter's have a friend spending the night so I'm sure they'll wake me up early. I'm going to sleep now for a few hours, I'll check in again in the morning. Prayers coming your way!

I agreen with you Kathy. Someone in that neighborhood will be tempted by that reward money for sure!!!!!

I guess I'm going to turn in also, I'm going to go outside first, to make a wish on the first star I see tonight, that tomorrow will bring you even closer to finding your darling boy, Zeke. Bless you all for the thoughts and prayers and standing behind Maureen in her long search, which I believe will have a joyous happy ending before you know it. Get some sleep all, I'll check in first thing in the morning before work...and again at noon hour. Now I'm heading out to wish upon Zeke's star...say my prayers a,d dream of Zeke's return home, where he belongs. Hugs!!!
