I too hope this horrible woman is identified.
I can't imagine going out of her way to hurt or make someone worry like that.
I'll tell ya, this world is getting worst every day. :mad:
This woman should be publicly humiliated for her actions.
I wish modern technology was so advanced to pick up the phone # of this woman.

Here is what I know.

Maureen finally sent the information I requested yesterday that I believed would help lead to the grandmother of the little boy.

Maureen also wrote me that she doesn't feel she can do a private investigator at this time.

I have not heard anything from her about whether or not she wants to authorize $50.00 of the collected funds to have the computer assisted background search conducted on the people with the little boy and obtain a location on the Grandmother.

I was hoping that if this was done, then those who volunteered to come to Modesto and do private free surveillance could help obtain a picture of the dog.

As to getting the MPD moving and other free methods of finding out information that would lead to Zeke, the person who would have access to running background info for free would be Kat's dad. He is the detective who was willing to interface with MPD. He and Kat did not receive the information from Maureen that was requested. He needed the numerous dates that MPD has been called about this case by Maureen and her family and the names of the people her family spoke with. He is now on vacation.

I thought "gifts" were collected for the PI purpose,what are those gifts being used for?

I have spoken with the man who lead Maureen to the house with the little boy. He is now attempting to get me more information about the family who lives there. He will call me when he gets the information I have requested. This man wanted to help Maureen because she had found his dog 6 months ago and the dog was found at Maureen's house.

The man I spoke with told me that his son, aged 13, is a straight A honor roll student. His son saw the fliers in the neighborhood and told his father that he had seen a similar dog. The man told Maureen where this was and this is where Maureen heard the little boy say the dog looked like Tahoe. I am told by the man that this little boy is about 8 years of age.

Now that I have received the information I requested from Maureen, I have a call into the Modesto Police Department to the officer in charge of the case. The officer knows that I am a criminal attorney and I left a message on his voice mail that I have information that may lead to solving the case. I did not say that I was with Maureen, as I thought it would be more likely for him to call me back if he thought I was a fresh source of a lead. I was not able to make this call until later today, so I have not heard back yet.

It would be very helpful if Maureen could get me the information about the dates and times that she has called the officer on this case and gotten no response. Should the officer not follow up with me, I will use this info to get to a serious supervisor. Police agencies have registers that log the incoming caller number and times of all callers to all departments, so, if I could give them times and dates, I can make a credible complaint. I am not willing to do this without this information.

Hello every one...I checked the link...I'm sure it has to be our Zeke, but there is no picture, WHY NOT??? We just have to pull it all together, to find him...soon.
Maureen, are you going to give the go ahead on the search? I think it's worth the $50.00...

I have now located the names of potential relatives for both registered owners of the Tahoe who live at the house where the little boy lives. I could do this for free, BUT I can't be sure if they are the right people unless I pay the service for confirming information that comes with a more extensive background search. The registered owners of the vehicle are a man and a woman. They have different last names.

I cannot be sure, but I believe the man was in the military and the woman has relatives living in Modesto. Some of them are female relatives, so they could be a grandma. The little boy's first name is the masculine version of the first name of the woman who is a registered owner of the Tahoe.

I can get further if funds are authorized so that I can do a better background search.

Galatea, what if Maureen didn't keep track of the calls she made to MPD? Would you still be able to voice a complaint?
I am anxious to see if they return your call...

Maureen is not on line...could you, galatea call her?

I am also now informed that the police raided the house this weekend and arrests were made. I don't know why and it doesn't appear it had anything to do with the dog . I am trying to get more information on that right now.

I'm hoping everything is still ok with Maureen & her computer.

I have replied to a PM that she sent yesterday to me. She sent me a PM in reply to my offer to help with the media side of things.

But her PM yesterday did not answer any of my questions & I gave her my cell phone number but have not heard from her.

Still praying for Zeke. Better check my candles too and light some new ones

My 3 contacts with Maureen have been to one number that appears to be a cell phone number. If Maureen uses that cell phone to call on this case, she will have a log of the call numbers and times. Either the phone will have that information on it, or, her cell phone bill should account for it.

I don't want to make a complaint unless I can document it. Credibility will be a key issue to getting them to do anything about this.

I went to petsmart today in Bakersfield. I had posted a flier of Zeke in there. I thought it was gone, but it appears someone just reduced the size so I wasnt hogging the board! It's still there with Zeke's pic. I still believe Zeke will come home. Keep your chin up Maureen.We are rooting for you!

I know this has been a problem on my end as well.

This is why I think Maureen needs to be the one to call you or me or anyone who is offering to help and follow up.

She has always had my number and if her 5 computers are all not working, she should still be able to call me or you since she has our numbers.

The house that was raided was the house where the Tahoe and the little boy are. not Maureen's house. I don't want to confuse anyone.

This could still be a break in Zeke's case...If the people in that home are involved in any thing else illegal...maybe they will take notice and investigate them further...I hope...
