Maureen, I woke up this morning thinking...it's been a month since your Zeke's been gone, but I still have this feeling in my gut...in my heart...that he is so close to you, right under your nose. Why can't we find him??? I'm with you...no matter how long it takes, we will not give up looking for him...he needs to come home to you.
Could some one near you list an ad looking to BUY an adult male neutered Yorkie? I don't think you should...but maybe some one close to you, a friend or family member? Then when you get a response, go with your friend to see him...if it's not Zeke, simply say sorry he's not exactly what I was looking for...and keep responding this way, maybe some one will offer to sell you Zeke...and BINGO we got 'em!!! I really think this may work...let's at least try this approach. I pray for you and Zeke to be reunited sooner rather then later.

Be very careful looking at dogs and thinking it's not yours. Yesterday I took mine to the groomers. I told her to just clean the female up (face, potty patch and nails) but I wanted the male clipped in a puppy cut (he was pretty long). When I went to get them if they hadn't been in the same crate I would not have recognized him at all. He looked so different even his color was different. He had been black and was now gray. If it wasn't Bubba, Sissy would have been crying for him. He looked like a totally different dog.

I know...that's what I said. If they cut or shaved Winston, I'm not sure that I would recognize him. Hubby said "No, maybe not...but Winston would recognize us". I'm seriously considering a tattoo or something to "mark" him as mine, because I do believe micro-chips can be removed...scarey thought!!!

I was just looking at the myspace page for Zeke.. that breaks my heart. I always think.. what if that was my dog. :( I'm so glad you still have your positive attitude, and I pray everyday you find him.

I just got back from my dog shows, and wanted to check in. I also emailed those people, and I have a feeling that they speak only spanish, and I think that we need someone on this forum that speaks spanish to also email them so that their will not be a communication breakdown. Otherwise I would have thought we would have heard from them by now.

I am still waiting to hear back from the lady and the billboard information. If we had to choose between a billboard, and posting flyers because of the financial situation, which would you choose as the most important?

Please know I am always searching puppyfind and have yet to come by anything that would lead us to Zeke, Still praying for him to come home, and please know any Gifts to help with posters, flyers, possibly a billboard will be most appreciated. We are not about to give up now. It has been 30 days, and it took us quite a while before we got this organized, so now we know what we have to do and have been doing it. We just have to keep doing what we are doing, and making sure everyone in every area possible has flyers to hand out, and post!!!!!! So we can stay on the trail that will lead us to ZEKE.

You are soooooooo right on that one, take a long hair yorkie to a puppy and you have a whole new dog. I have done the same thing, even my husband has a hard time recognizing our babies when I get them all groomed and trimmed. He could also be very different because he is dirty, so we need to focus on time lost, weight, and the fact that he is neutered, age, and micro chipped is the big one!!!!!

Thank the Lord he is micro chipped!!!!!

It's only a matter of time that he is taken to the Vet, and may God be with us to make sure that Vet checks him with his micro chip wand!!!!!!

I know what you mean, when Zeke got his first puppy cut it was so short he didnt look the same.

Like I said in an earlier post, If you haven't got hope, than what do we have!!!!!!! Believe me I still have a lot of hope, as I feel we have a good start now, and if we just continue doing what we are doing, something is bound to break loose!!!!!!

All you gotta do is hope, something like that, I know all you youngsters don't remember that song, but maybe some of you gals my age remember it. That sucks so bad...I almost lost both of my puppies at separate times. They seem to like to wander until they've wandered too far. Both times I cried because I couldn't imagine how scared they could've been. I keep a tight reign on both now and warn new people about the door when they come in.

I think we have to ask if their are any Spanish Speaking people on this forum that would be willing to help us, on the found adds that need to be responded to in English and Spanish. Their are probably more Spanish speaking people in Ca. than English, and it is a possibility that a Spanish person could have bought Zeke and has not seen the posters or flyers, or has yet to take him to the Vet. It is very important that we are also represented by the Spanish community. They could be very helpful in our investigation. Maybe a start could be to see if Jose speaks spanish and English, as he was a help in the beginning. Hopefully Maureen still has his contact number.
