Lori, dont take a break from yorkietalk. You love your babies, I can tell just by talking to you for a few short minutes on the phone. That is what brings all of us here together, we love our babies and would do anything for them. I would do anything to get Armani back if god forbid something happened to him. Ya there were some things I didn agree with that were posted on this thread but I didn say anything because I couldn even imagine how I would feel if Armani was taken from me. Its hard to what any of us would do if we were put in this situation. No one should get slammed for stating their opinion and I am sure noone meant for Jeanie to leave. She was a real trooper through this whole thing. We have to remember this thread is about ZEKE and not any of us. We should put differences aside and help to bring a poor little baby home.

Can we start a new board for just lost yorkies or found yorkies, that way every lost yorkie would be included, I feel that some felt we were just focusing on Zeke and not Bebe and there a new one cindy I think, if we could put them on one board it would better

I have been in this thread from the beginning. And I have to tell you that there were only a very few handful of wonderful women that stepped up to the plate to help Maureen, whom, doesn't really have anyone locally for help or support. Zeke has been missing for quite some time, and Maureen and these handful of wonderful women are the ONLY ONES that seem to be coming up with ideas, leads, funds, support, flyers, etc....

I hate to say it but if it wasn't for these wonderful women helping Maureen, I don't think the "Find Zeke Campaign" would be as far as it has come.

Now, I haven't read every single post (b/c I have some of my own issues to deal with and it has limited my YT time) - but, I can tell you, that Maureen and these wonderful women have done a tremendous amount of leg work and they all should be quite proud, I know I am.

I just think it was horrible for people to come on here and make judgements about the others, other ideas, other thoughts that were expressed out load. Where were you in the beginning of all of this?????????????

I also have to tell you that, if this were me and one of my babies were missing...Well, I would still be wondering the streets. I wouldn't go back to work, I wouldn't sleep, I wouldn't eat. I'd probably go to the bathroom outside, as a matter of fact I be outside 24 hours a day searching, knocking on doors, hanging flyers, handing out flyers, my cell phone would be glued to my ear. And YES, I would consider my missing or stolen dog TOP PRIORITY and I would expect the Police Officer assigned to my case to be on TOP Priority too, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO, by our tax dollars. There would be NO HOLDS BAR with me and finding my baby, especially if I had a lead that someone had him and was not trying to find me. :mad:

But anyway, these Wonderful Women are just that WONDERFUL. I truly hope that you continue to stay, continue to post your thoughts, your ideas, your support and your love and most of all YOUR PRAYERS FOR ZEKE'S SAFE RETURN.

I know this thread is not about me, but Zeke, but I am so heartsore that this has happened. I found new friends across the ocean, wonderful women whom I would love to meet one day if possible. Lovely ladies that I shared a bond with - Yorkies- and the despair felt by all of us when a baby went missing.
We have prayed, spoken BS, cried and laughed at each other, chatted about other things and most of all tried in one way or another to help Maureen. Please don't leave guys.

Maureen I'm so sad that you're sad. I will continue to pray, light candles and be here.

To the rest of the ladies I've "met" over the past few weeks, hang in there, I

Sheilagh, I too treasure the friends that I have made here, and I am heartbroken about what has happened here. For those of you that want to understand the (Afrikaans) words "Ek sit en huil" - it means "I sit and cry".

choose their words more carefully. Daisy please don't be one of them.
Your exhustion is probably due from trying to do so much to help Maureen
and other's who ask. Your a big part of this site and if more people
were like you we would not have these problems to begin with. Hang
in there and bite the bullet, so to speak. This board needs you. As well
as Maureen, Zeke and the rest of YT.

I just hope this ends happy...I think about it everyday, I would be going crazy and breaking down every door in the area...And my husband is a police officer, It Wouldn't Be Pretty! Where are things standing w/ the PI, $'s needed, etc. What can those of us a distance away keep doing? :(

I too am saddened by recent events on this thread. But 2 things that Maureen has said continue to ring in my heart.

One is how she named Zeke – using the name Ezekiel from the Bible, and shortening it to Zeke.

Secondly, Maureen said she feels God is trying to show her some things through the loss of Zeke.

(In light of yesterday’s events on this thread – maybe God is trying to teach everyone something.)

I have been drawn to the book of Ezekiel, based on Maureen’s comments. Maybe we should all be reading this somewhat complicated prophetic book.

I want to share a few things from the book of Ezekiel.

First: Ezekiel means “God will strengthen”
(I am praying God's strength for you Maureen)

Practical application of Ezekiel: The Book of Ezekiel calls us to join in a fresh and living encounter with the God of Abraham, Moses and the prophets.
We must be overcomers or we will be overcome.
Ezekiel challenged us to: experience a life changing vision of God's power, knowledge, eternal presence and holiness; let God direct us; comprehend the depth of and commitment to evil that lodges in each human heart; to recognize that God holds his servants responsible for warning wicked men of their peril; to experience a living relationship with Jesus Christ, who said that the new covenant is to be found in His blood.

What to do if we really want to help other people in their troubles
We must recognize certain things. They are important things. We must have pity and sympathy for them. We must share their suffering. Read Ezekiel 3:15, 16. He says: ‘I sat where they sat…’

For a whole week, Ezekiel did nothing. He noticed the awful state of his own people. They did not share his trust and confidence in God. He just sat among them. He shared their pain and despair. Ezekiel had no easy solution for their situation.

We want to be of use to the Lord. We want to serve those in trouble. Then we must learn to be quiet. We must not speak immediately. Charles Lamb, a famous English writer who lived from 1775–1834, once asked his friend a question. ‘Have you ever heard me preach?’ (This usually means to speak God’s word in public. It can also mean to tell people what they ought to do.) The friend’s reply must have made him feel very upset. The friend said ‘I have never heard you do anything else.’ We must learn to listen.

Please don't let all the differences of opinion wear you down and make you sad. You know in the end no matter what we are all here to support you in your search for Zeke. I have met so many wonderful people on YT. When someone is in need they throw themselves body and soul into helping that person. All these women reached out to help you, and are still here to lend their support for you at this trying time.

Please take heart in the fact that we will be here for you till you and Zeke are reunited.

I will continue praying for Zeke's return and also for your family in hopes that it will ease the stress you are all feeling.

I haven't had as much time to be able to check in here but I always have this thread on my mind. I have Zeke in my prayers everyday. The replies and help have been amazing here ,that's what makes YT so special.
I read some of the drama that started and am glad that most of it was deleted. Whatever disagreements there might be it all comes down to one thing. ( Getting Zeke home safely.) I'm glad that Proudmommy has Not given up because it seems that there are very good leads in this case and that Zeke is most likely very near by.

There needs to be a huge celebration party when Zeke is in his mommy's arms.Everyone including myself is waiting for that day very soon.

Just look back to one week ago today - at the love that was shown to you Maureen, and the comradery and friendship we all shared (see about page 104) - when we were all waiting for news, worrying about Maureen, but still kidding around with each other.

I am behind in reading the threads and want you to know I am sending hugs and prayers your way. I pray for a safe return for Zeke very soon!!

Okay, back to where we were...Maureen you honestly believe the two homes in question are no longer in question, right? So we still need to find out where the grandmother lives. I know we talked about the PI being back tomorrow, is the plan still to contact them? I really would, because you do not have enough help...many here offer, but most of us have too many miles between us to be able to be there physically. Emotionally yes...spiritually yes...but physically...that is the problem, we need more people to actually be there to help you find Zeke. We have faith that will happen, but it's so very hard being so far away...Earlier there were a few people helping post fliers, and I remember some, at least one that actually lived in Modesto...others within driving distance. Maureen ask for help when you need it. There are some people nearby that have offered...to be your eyes and ears...and do some of the foot work. I pray that all is well in your world, and that Zeke will in fact, be back in that world...to make your life complete. I want to take this time to thank each and every individual for their time, help, thoughts, prayers and their ideas. Please keep them coming, I beg of you...for Zeke.
