| ![]() Lauren and Judy, I sure wish there was a place we could post the summary somewhere on a thread for viewing only, so eveyone who wanted to see only where we are to be on top of everything without having to wade through the whole post. I don't know if we have any set gift rules, the more gifts the more we can put the squeeze on getting Zeke home. What does everyone else think, the more gifts the better in my book! I don't think a puppy can have too many gifts!!!!!!! We need posters, posters, and more posters, is Sherlock making the posters for us, I know he was going to do them in Spanish and English so I presume he is doing Poster Duty, now we need recrutes to help get them all up and posted in the areas that he suggested. We need some volunteers in the Tracy and Modesto area, wish I lived their, I think I would love that job!!!! It would be soooooooo rewarding, especially for the person who returns Zeke!!!!!!!!! Gosh is feels so good to have all this good stuff going on, and with all the wonderful people who are on board, and helping with the gifts, Big Hugs!!!!!! from all!!!! |

I could not find the other map of Modesto, so am going to try posting screenshot of new one (if it's not too big). I like the size, because it show surrounding areas.

The map is great!!!!!! How could it not be. Girlfriend, what do you think about getting a list of the areas we should be posting in, and do we gift someone to put posters everywhere, there is a lot of area to cover, I think we should ask Sherlock how to get all the area's covered with the posters he is making. I'm not on top of exactly what he is doing, I am just presuming he is doing posters as he suggested Spanish and English, and Maureen does not speak Spanish, I would think as long as he has been in business he would have tons of poster idea's that have worked for him in the past. So I think he maybe could be making at the least some sample posters that we could copy, and get them out there somehow. This is a big job, and Maureen can not do it alone. Any great ideas Genie? aka Lauren??????

| ![]() Jeannie this is jsut an idea but why dont you just start a new thread and in your introduction explain that it is a view only thread to keep people up-to-date on what is going on with finding Zeke. Ask them kindly to view it only and if they have comments, etc to go to this thread and post it and give the link. There will be people that post on it anyway but it will be kept down to a minimum at least. I think it will work. |

That is a good idea, and we have thought about it in the past, but would be afraid people would still respond to the thread, and than it would defeat it's purpose, I wish there was a way administration could post the thread for viewing only, than as you said return to the orig. post for comments, and maybe lock the thread, so only Judy and Lauren could up date it. They seem to have a great handle on how to lock people from comments, why couldn't they lock their comments, and maybe they could forward them to the original post? It's a tuffy, as everyone would like to view the update with facts only version, but how to keep them from posting on it without a lock would be difficult. I think I will go to administration and ask them what are some of our options, they have been so helpful in the past, I would really think they could put a lock on comments, it's probably never been done before, I don't know, but if they could that would be the answer.

Does Sherlock sound like he has some ideas...things we haven't already done...or do we not know yet? It's all sounding very possible, promising that Zeke is comin' home!!!

I don't really fully understand the meetups, or the members, it would be great but this is so important that they are posted asap, that Sherlock should know of a service that would do the appropiate places necessary to cover the area's of most interest. I would think there would be someone in that business, as California has it all. This is so massive, also how do we get the posters to all these people? That is why I think Sherlock needs to help with distribution, he probably knows of a service. It might be more cost effective to do a billboard on the highway between Modesto and Tracy. Do you know anything about billboards? Or where you could go to find out information of putting one up for a couple of weeks at a time. I feel like it is going to take over a week to spread all these posters without a service for each important area. What are your thoughts and anyone's else's? I will call Maureen and see just what Sherlock can do for us. If he can not take the phone calls, maybe Maureen can get a second line for those calls only, so none are missed, and Sherlock could leave the message on her other line answering Sherlock Bones in English and Spanish, to please leave a message and we will get right back to you., and if she needed him to translate the Spanish calls all she has to do is call him on one line, and play back the messages on the other. i don't think it would be that costly to get another line, just for the purpose of people calling about ZEKE. It is of most importance that they can get through, and the other line Maureen can use for personal calls and gifts for ZEKE. I think Maureen is going to be pretty tied up with Gifts for Zeke calls, and she could be missing calls about spottings on ZEKE or information as to his whereabouts. I would also think their is a service you could gift to post the posters in the most important areas. Also a service to copy as many posters as we could use. My eyes are changing lanes, I can barley see my computer, I'll be back after I get all my babies to bed.

| ![]() here is a testamonial of a sherlock client in VA. Dear John, Sorry this has taken me so long, but I wanted to find the right time that this testimonial deserved as well as the attention you deserve for your incredible insights, empathy, compassion for not only human life but the furry things that keep us humble and remind us everyday how the simple and basic things are what really matter. YOU JOHN KEANE should never question how important your work is and how you take a devastating situation and make people feel like they have won the lottery not to mention the way you take us from the pits of dis pare and possible feelings of hopelessness with a phone call to someone you never met and don't know anything about, to making them feel like they can conquer the world and feel like that needle in a hay stack is a pitch fork in a bundle of hay. My testimonial is as follows, please feel free to revise as you wish. On the 15Th of June I called Sherlock Bones desperate, very sad and just about hopeless. I stumbled upon his web site just hoping for something to inspire me to keep searching. I am a single mom of 2 ages 2 and 4 and on my 18Th day searching for my 4 lb. Yorkie named Diesel, I imagined the worst of course but knew I had to find him, I tracked him for 8 hours in the rain and put up about 300 posters and over 100 fliers with my kids in their car seats, every day of the 18 doing something related to finding my Diesel hiking through woods and yards day and night, killing myself , so when I met John I was just about ready to quit. After about 30 minutes on the phone he made me feel like that moment when the Grinch was about to lose the sled over the hill and he lifted it up over his head. I felt like the world was the size of my 4 lb Diesel and Diesel was the size of the world. This man should have billboards not a website. Two days after I ran around and changed my poster to what he suggested I got a phone call and my sweet little Diesel was home. Safe, healthy and so badly missed. I want to scream Johns name from the roof tops, without him and his dedication, and positive attitude and sheer concern for living creachers I would not be writing this today and feel like I won the lottery. Thank you John and Your family who obviously support all your time and effort to this very needed cause. Tell everyone you know about this Angel on earth who is so appreciated and should go to bed every night with the satisfaction that he makes an enormous difference in this world. Thanks so much to you and your family. You will never be forgotten. Sincerely, Lynda Spinelli Diesel, Deon, and my kids Courtney and Cole One last thing John before I go, my daughter got a balloon from the grocery store while Diesel was missing and I told her and her brother to hold tight when we went outside, well as you can guess Courtney accidentally let go of hers and she was very upset. I was tired and didn't feel like going all the way back in to the store so it popped into my head to tell her that "hey you know what Courtney, your balloon is going to find Diesel and bring him home." I got her to calm herself and we watched the balloon drift off until it dissapeared and I sayed see its going to find Diesel right now and bring him home to us". She felt better and talked about it telling people her balloon story, I thought oh man I sure hope we find him or she will not believe what I tell her. So to this day now and forever you have made my little girl believe that her balloon that she cried over actually brought her Diesel home, for that I can't thank you enough. God bless you and your kind heart. Please feel free to write this however you want in your testimonial section. You still have his picture Right? I'll send it again in case. Take care, Lynda Northern Virginia |
