I have not been following this thread, and I have not read completely through it, but I am wondering if the cleaning business is a scam. They just hire out to get inside your home and then steal anything of value.

It makes me so angry that people will steal an animal. This is not an inanimate piece of property, this is a living being who has feelings of fear and love and missing someone.
