I couldnt make out the picture at all but the coloring looked the same I it looked like they were purposely trying to hide his face or something and that is why I asked about it. Does MAureen have a picture of Zeke shaved all of the way down. I found another picture with similar features on the face but this dog is shaved so I cant tell. He looks kind of black so I dont know but has Zekes face and mouth. What do you think?

Here is a screenshot of the above dog side by side with Zeke. Zeke is the 2 pictures on the left. I have my doubts for several reasons. Look at the pic to the right. Do you see the date it was taken - "2007 05 23". Zeke went missing June 15th. Can you post the link? There might be more information that would provide information.
There are similarities. Both dogs have the blond faces, with the dark coloring on their backs.

Here is a closeup of the little guy that I ZOOMED 200 %. Perhaps Maureen should take a look at the finer details that show with an enlargement:

Hey lauren you can change the date on the camera .. I know I have messed the date up before on accident but you could do it to lie too.

I was looking more at the face and mouth on these 2 pictures. This guy look dark around the neck though but it is hard to tell when they have long hair. It is mostly the face and the way he holds his mouth like Zeke does.

Lori, look at the enlargement. It gives much better detail. What do you think? And I agree, dates on cameras can definitely be changed/ just plain wrong.

I found the picture on nextdaypets and have passed over it pages ago. I am not subscribed so I couldnt view any of the information. If you think it is close I can find it again I am sure.

Almost looks like he might have Legg Perthes in that back leg or his legs are just tiny.

If you look at the face on the nextdaypets pic, see the silver on top of his head? It starts just above the nose. Zeke's coloring around the face is very blond. He has a little darker patch right next to his nose, but this is more of a deeper gold. Above his eyes, Zeke is blond; any silver is so minimal, it does not show much in his pictures. In previous days, I have blown Zeke's pictures up and examined them from every angle, to see if I can spot distinguishing markings. Unfortunately, I do not have one that would show clearly if Zeke has his dew claws or not.

Sometimes that can be deceiving too. Jeannie and I co-own a dog named Louie and you would have thought he was gold and black. Well I made the awlful mistake of trying to give him a hair cut and he doesnt have a lick of gold on his head. It is all silver. It looked gold before I cut it. That is why I was wondering if she had a shaved picture. I dont even know for sure if this is a male. I dont have the picture in front of me now so not sure if it shows that or not. It probably isnt him but I saw the face and it was the closest face I saw so far.

Barb, this pic could be important for Maureen to see, because only she can tell for sure. You are right about the changes that happen when a dog is shaved like that. You and Jeannie are far more knowledgeable than I when it comes to Yorkie coloring, that is for sure.

The nextday pet seems to have some scaring on the back left leg. Just something that keeps catching my eye...:confused:

I'm confused . Who needs the meetups list? I sent messages to all of the meetups in the Modesto area. Nicole (TLC) did too. She sent me the address of the local Modesto meetups of all kinds. Is that what you're talking about?

It's somewhere in my pms I think, or Nicole may have it.

Yes I had mentioned he looked like he had Legg Perthes. This inst Zeke because he was available in May and Zeke didnt get lost intil June.

This is SO sad I can't believe he is still missing you think these ladies would of had a heart and returned him by now. Remember I'm about 30 minutes away from you so if there is something I can do in the Stockton area let me know :) I seen a few signs at my local vet and pet store of missing yorkies, it's like we have to keep our yorkies in prison so nobody takes them, it so sad :(

Well I placed a post in the San Francisco Bay area forums of Reef Central as it seems that's the nearest to Modesto. This is a saltwater hobbyist forum, but it's the largest in the world and has a huge membership in that area. Who knows, someone might have seen or know something from there.
