Lori, is their anyway you could get away and fly out there for a few days? I am sure every one on this post would contribute for your airline ticket I know I sure would. You and Maureen would make a great team, and would be a great comfort to Maureen when we age getting soooooo close. I hate for her to be on her own for all the posting, and the flyers she has to get out there, if you can get away , check with the airlines to see how much it would cost for a round trip ticket, we will all help pay for it. I shouldn't speak for everyone, but know I will help out. Let's get the cost first and go from there.

I think we all fell asleep praying last night, I know I did, and so did Kathy, we can't pray enough at a time like this. We are going to bring Zeke home, and you seem to be a good luck charm, as you were the one who delivered the dog to the man in Jersy???? I am not sure where you had to go, but I know you went, and we raised gifts for you to go, I was not on this forum at that time so I don't know all the details. Could your husband take care of the kids and pets?

Maureen, you have the address of that man's house. Ask the officer, when he calls to find out his name and that of the Grandmother. You need to get HER address ASAP. I will be leaving here soon and will be gone most of the day, but will try and check in before lunch.

Think of the timing of that little boy being there, at the front door when you arrived, and then identifying Zeke's picture as "Tahoe". You were MEANT to be there at that exact time because you were being given a message out of the mouth of an innocent child. A few minutes earlier, or later and he might have been playing outside, at a friend, whatever. He was there when you came, to tell you what you needed to hear. It was like Zeke was sending you a message, a clue.

Lauren you are so right, however, I do not think it is a good idea for Maureen to be going house to house alone.

I have asked her to please get in touch with the man that has been such a big help to her so far, and see if he would be willing to go with her so she can pass out flyers in that block, then the area where the grandmother is supposed to be.

She is willing to get the police involved, however Officer Nickerson does not seem to be in the office. I asked her to call and find out when he will be back on duty, as he is the only one who is in charge of her case, and the only one given permission to work on it. She thinks he works Fri. Sat. Sun. Mon. Which is good for us, as that is off time for almost everyone and maybe the grandmother will come over to visit her son with Tahoe.

I know from the very bottom of my heart, gut, and soul that we have ZEKE, kids don't lie, and he said that is Tahoe, when he looke at the picture. Everything is coming together to get this little boy home. We are so close, I really don't think their will be a problem when we get the police involved, and Maureen has to be with him when he goes to the house. She is the only one who can identify her dog!!!!!!!! She agrees, and will make sure is is with the officer when he goes to the door to question the boy and his father, than find out where the childs grandmother lives. He should have a search warrent with him. So he has access to the houses that Zeke could be in. I so wish this was Fri. However, we could use this time to pass out more flyers in the neighborhood's where the son and father live, than where the grandmother might be, he did give street names, and thats where the flyers should go. It would give them a couple of days to turn the puppy over, and collect the reward, the grandmother can not keep him hidden forever.

I wish you lived closer, and could hand out flyers with Maureen, we are so glad to have you on board, and it would be so great to have a Spanish speaking person to talk to the people, as Maureen does have the poster in English and Spanish, but speaks no Spanish.

Just you wonderful willingness to help is wonderful, believe me when she can use you , you will be the first to know.

Thank you for all you do and your willingness to do more, and the support and prayers you have given to Maureen, you have been a blessing to all of us.

It is so easy to love Maureen, she is like a daughter to me, and I love her to pieces, she is full of love, compassion, smart, grounded, and just about as nice a person as you would ever like to be friends with. Please keep the prayers going for the safe return of Zeke, and now we just have to be patient, and hope they will come forward for the reward, until we can get the police involved!!!!!!! That should be this weekend.

Just finished reading the updates on Zeke. I was so praying that he would be home with his mom today. I will continue to pray that Maureen will have her baby back in her arms soon.

When I talked to Maureen, I asked her to make sure she goes with the officer, and to make sure he has two search warrant's, one for the house with the Man and his Son, and one blank one signed that they can fill in the address of the grandmother when that address is available. Maureen has to go with them to ID the Yorkie, no if's and's or bootie's, we are not going to get this all messed up like the officer did last time.

Lori, I know what you mean about feeling helpless, but you are anything but!!!!! You do sooooooo much and we all look up to you for advice, and sites to look at, and the support you give Maureen is just the best bar none.

I wish I could be their also, and I know we all wish we could be their to help, but we are helping from afar. And from afar, we will get the job done, and get that baby home. I will be praying all day that everything just comes together so smoothly to get Zeke back before Laurner goes on vacation, and that leaves us with more time than we need. I am thinking he will be home by the weekend.

Lori, you just keep doing what you are doing, and Zeke will be home before we know it.

Everything happens for a reason. If the officer is in on Friday, that may be the day that Zeke (Tahoe) will pay a visit to the man and the little boy.

I don't think Maureen should talk to the child without a police officer around. It may not be legal, or he may become frightened and run and tell whoever has the dog to hide him.

The one thing I noticed is every one of us ladies, so looooooooooooooove chocolate, so when the S___ starts hitting the fan, I want to make sure you all have plenty of chocolate, their is nothing better, and I mean nothing when you are waiting to hear news and are stressed to the gills!!!!!!!!

I have a whole box of dark hershey almond bars, hershey kisses to slow me down, as I have to unwrap each one. and my very, very favorite, Nestles Dark Chocolate Truffle, sooooooooooooo good!!!!!! Only for special occasions, like when Zeke comes home, we will all toast with our favorite beverage, and our favorite chocolate, until the party begins!!!!!!!!!

Lets all keep the prayers going 24/7, I will be praying all day for the Lord to lead us to ZEKE, actually he already has, now he needs to lead us to the grandmothers house, or to have them come forward with the reward!!!!!!:thumbup: :thumbup:

Your posts are always so sweet Jeannie I always read with tears in my eyes:) I was looking and the only time I could get away would be if I left tonight after work. and came back friday morning . I don't think that would help that much and the money it would cost would be far to much.
