| I think all yorkies look great long or short tail. But I don't like the idea of having a dog with a docked tail, cause if I was a dog I think I wouldn't like it! Anyway yorkies look wonderful with long tail and I love my yorkie's tail! |

Why not? This is really bothering me. What are the regulations on this and dewclaw removal?

| My Heidi already had her tail docked when i bought her at 8 weeks back in 1993. I often wondered what she would have looked like with her full tail. I don't know whether it is illegal or not in the UK...could anyone enlighten me? I wonder if my next baby will have a full tail or docked..

| I have one with a docked tail and one without. Lola's tail is just about the cutest thing and she is so expressive with it. I know when she is extremely happy and when she is about to bark at me for ignoring her(she wags it real fast then ) Chewy's was docked. It's cute, but I tend to think it would have been a beautiful, long and thick tail. Standard or not, I prefer a tail.

| Sorry, my Mugzy is docked, but he still has a little bit to wag. Actually, his whole butt goes crazy when I come home! |

| My Bella is a yorkie/pom and she has a full tail. I personally think she'd look silly with a docked tail. It fits with her floppy ears

| I'm a fan of the full tail. My shihpoo has a cute flip up tail that requires little maintence and fans so prettily. and all I have to do is say his name and it starts wagging. I wish Otis could give me a big wag sometimes, a little more than a nubbin wag. But I love him anyway. His is actually pretty long as far as docked tails go.
