As I stated in my previous post. they don't have to have any white at all and they can be a carrier.

The first known parti colored yorkie, had two traditional colored parents. This has been happening for a long time, it is just recently that the breeders have been admitting to it, because no one wanted to admit that their champion yorkie sired an off colored puppy.

I'm one of those parti owners, and I can attest to the fact that they do not have to show any white to be considered a carrier.

Hey my Gizmo has a white patch on his chest also.!!!!!
I just love it. I don't think he is a carrier of Biewer but you'd have to ask Pam.

Thanks Jeanie....she is one of the people I said i knew on the Parti scene....Weath of knowledge and has shared many thoughts with me on Diggys markings. here is the most recent pic of Diggy and his cute lil self!

Now his head on top thats the silver and all my babies went through that....what is new and none of the others have had is the white tips on his paws...you can kinda see them here...looks like he got swiped with a paint brush. Either way and waht ever he is...I can tell you this...I Adore him!!!

And he is my little man!!!

Diggy looks like his coat is getting thick and longer. What a cutie he is.

Thanks! Yes...i think his puppy coat is going bye bye....all those tangles at the roots were driving me crazy!!!! Is Livi still knotting up too??? His coar is getting much shinier and not so fluffy!

I meant you are one of the breeders on the parti scene...lol i jusr reread the post and it makes no sense! lol

aww, he is SO cute. he looks so much like my Frankie! Frankie has some of that white.. not as much, just a little patch on the chest... i didnt know that wasnt supposed to be there? lol

cept frankie is 8 months now... and he still has puppy-like hair. its so thick and fluffy. i love it tho hehe

Of course, a Yorkie can be B/G and sire parti's if he is a carrier..but if your stud is from standard colors, from standard colors, ( like the poster)as far as you can go back, then the chance of carrying a pie bald gene is nil to nothing...if by some miracle he did, then he would have to be bred to another carrier, not a standard color bitch from stand color ancestors.

Yep thats exactly how I understood it too....I was told some percentages about the odds of a splitter bred with parti and them parti bred with standard and so on I dont remember exactly. Thanks for sharing
