| ![]() Hi. Welcome. I just wanted to say that I have heard from vets and trainers alike that it is not necessary to brush the pup's teeth if he gets mostly hard food. I give mine a denta-bone once a week. Potty training takes a long time, but keep faith. At five months (almost ![]() ![]() Good luck. You will find all the info you will ever need to raise your boy on YT. Hope you get some sleep tonight.

| ![]() CONGRATS on your new baby ![]() My Mugzy looooves cats; the one can't stand him, and the other tolerates him. I figured if he got swatted once or twice he'd learn to steer clear, but nooo, he chases her and barks at her, just to drive her crazy. Treats: NO NO CHOCOLATE-it can kill them. He really likes cheerios, small pieces of cheese, and big dog food! Because of their size, the treat should only be the size of an M&M or else they'll fill up on treats. Food: Mugzy is picky, though and while he's supposed to be on Royal Canidae, he mostly sneaks the big dog food. Baby food can be too fatty, so limit it. No onions, no garlic. Potty: If you work, I would either crate, playpen, or confine to the bathroom. (Make sure you have the lid to the toilet shut!!). PRAISE and TREATS for using it whenever you catch him, just clean up good when he messes, and expect it to take longer than other dogs, but it will happen. Toys: I found a toy squirrel that was supposed to smell like a real one, he loves that...also likes the very small rawhides that have a bit of meat in them, and those bully sticks. P.S. I use Banfield Pet Hospital at PetSmart. They have a good deal of about $26 a month for the first year covers all shots, visits, and neutering. We get groomed at PetSmart, and take obedience classes there too. |

As far as your aunt, is there any way at all that you can kindly ask your aunt not to bring her dogs over at least until your guy is older and has been on flea preventative for awhile. Fleas can be very dangerous for a tiny puppy!

i locked the cat up, he is very weird, trying to attack me and the other dog now, hes had 3 accidents today., but i caught him on his last one, and rushed him outside, so he did go a little out side, then i gave him a treat. yesterday i bought him dime sized chewy training treats, and i also got his nails clipped at petsmart, unfortunately they didnt have any opening to groom him
