Well I bit the bullet and took Nathan to my local Petsmart to be groomed. The only reason I went there was because 2 weeks ago I was in there and another Yorkie owner was picking up her yorkie and his cut looked so cute!! So i asked her who groomed him and she told me who to ask for and that he is the only one she lets groom her Yorkie!!!
Well we went Saturday and I was a nervous wreck!!! But when I went to pick him up he looked so cute!!!! The groomer did exactly what I requested and I was so pleased and will be using him only from now on!! He said Nathan was fine just lazy!!!

He didn't want to stand up while being trimmed, he just wanted to sit down!!! Here are some before and after ( in fact my avatar is a after photo) You may not be able to tell the difference but I sure can!!!

Well, he looks adorable! Nice to hear something good about one of the petstore grooming chains instead of horror stories!!

nice cut and Nathan looks calm and happy. Sometimes a groomer has to start with the chains just to get experience and build up a resume ... you got a good one. Stay with him.

Tell me about it and I have been looking for a groomer and so glad I found this one 10 minutes from home!!!

Although it was probably an experience for him cause he came right home got in his bed and went to sleep!!

he was glad to get home!!!

I, too, have had success at Petsmart with grooming, though after hearing all the "horror" stories I have been nervous about going back. I have found a new vet I think I am going to like near us that has a groomer in his office. I am going to try her for Emmy and Oscar's next grooming appointment. It will Oscar's first time and I want it to be a good experience. Emmy's last experience was NOT good--at a different vet, so I hope this one works out.

i know its a scary feeling the first time leaving him and not knowing how he would turn out!! but I will use them as long as this groomer is there, he was wonderful!!
