| I don't want to go to a groomer again! So Haruka went to a groomer today. Before and After... nothing was that different.... Then boom! 60 dollars including tips.. was gone. This was the second time going to groomers. We went to a different one last time, but the groomer left the place, so I decided to try this one... I am not feeling good about it. When I picked her up, I was "hmmm.. did she do anything?" So I asked her to trim more hair on her legs. THen she couldn't even have Haruka stay still. Haruka was asking me to rescue her. So I had to hold her, the groomer couldn't do it by herself. So I wonder how she cut her hair. WHen i asked her "how did she do? Was she good?" then she said "NO". I was like "what?" Haruka is well behaved dog,. so I was surprised. The last groomer said that Haruka was one of the most well behaved dogs who come for grooming. But this lady today said "no." She said that Haruka screamed a lot. I just wondered why. Then She put a comb in her hair, then she started screaming.... ah... that was something new. I comb her and she rarely screams..... She had a cheap bow..... well.. it came off within 5 minutes.. because she didn't put it right. I am just disappointed.. I could have groomed that much.. Booo Booo.. Now I am determined to buy the right stuff and groom by myself from now. Now I have to find a slicker, brush, and scissor.... ANy recommendation? I will probably buy cc SYSTEM. ANy scissor?

| Thanks.. You cannot imagine how upset I am... Every time I look at Haruka, I want to forget that she went to a groomer.. because she looks exact the same!!! I am trying not to touch anything right now... I probably mess things up if I do.. because I am too angry..

| Poor Haruka...The woman probably traumatized her I'm sorry you guys had a not so good experience!! I agree with the whole doing your own grooming thing. We had a bad experience with a groomer once, and I said never again. Especially since my hubby and I have the time to do it. Good luck!! The CC gold series pin brush is awesome, and we use Coat Handler shampoo and conditioner. We clip the nails after baths, and my hubby expresses the anal glands when he's bathing them, if necessary.

| That's awful, and she took $60! I don't pay that much in NYC, but Boston is pretty expensive too. I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope your little sweetie forgets all about it.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Look at the bright side she didn't shave her!!! I know how disappointed you are to spend that much money and not see any difference not to mention she traumatized my poor Haruka. Go buy those grooming supplies and you will feel better!!

I agree with you... Only reason I avoided that was.... because I go there monthly for yorkie meetup.. plus.. I am very direct to people already. So I didn't want to be considered "a problem lady" at the site. And Patti is right.. I should be GRATEFUL that at least Haruka was shaved... I know for sure that I won't go there again for grooming..

| I took Murfee to the groomers...once...That was 3 years ago and I have done it myself every since. I bought a kit at Walmart...has all size heads and a comb and scissors. I am NO professional but we don't care 'cause Murfee doesn't cry and get sad and I don't cry and get sad and everyone is happy..except sometimes daddy says Murfee looks a little funny |

| Wow $60.00 dollars!!!!!! That's over half the price for a professional clipper. I too just bought the Andis clipper. It's the two speed. I've had the Oster for over 5 years now and decided on the Andis this time. It's wonderful, and so quiet. |
