Great! We look forward to seeing pictures! Australian Shephard was probably one of our top choices... And like someone else said about them a few posts earlyer... They are very hyper and need LOADS of excercise... which is perfect for us... We are young and very active... (we go to the dog park dailey, go on our dailey runs, and go to the lake at least once a week....) But please please post your pics... I wana see them with Wobie!

I think any dogs can get along safely as long as they are taught to respect their owner and each other from the beginning Good luck!

But, if you go with a lab, I'd want a mature adult. Personally, the dog I consider most dangerous to Joey is an adolescent lab. Not because they are aggressive but because they are so big and clumsy, they hurt him without realizing it while playing. But, honestly, why on earth would you want another breed besides a Yorkie?!? I'm with tootsiesmom - I'd go for a large yorkie or yorkie mix.

This statement is sooo true! My girls were raised with a 157 lb Great Pyrenees. (we lost him last month to bone cancer). They all got a long great! He was very gentle and mindful of the little ones under his feet though.

I have completely fallen in love with my yorkie, I want to get another yorkie... (and probably will sometime soon) But my guy wants a big manly dog that he can go running with and do flyball and frisbee and take to the lake. If it were up to me we would have 10 yorkies and no other breed but i can understand where hes comming from.... I think we have decided on a aussie.... now we just gotta find one!

| My mom had a lab and a yorkie and the lab was so sweet with her little yorkie, Kiera. Very gentle although he was around a year old when she got the yorkie. Labs also love water so that's a plus if your BF want to swim with him. Downside is the shedding.

Everyone has been so helpful! Choosing a new family member is such a big deal! We want to make sure we choose just the right dog for us and our little bailey. I know we probably seem difficult lol but we have just recently started doing some research about old english sheepdogs. Does anyone own one of these gorgeous dogs? Thoughts?

There was an Old English Sheepdog in Maxwell's puppy class that she got shipped to VA from North or South Dakota! The CUTEST fuzz ball. At 10 weeks, he was one of the biggest puppies in class. But she brought him the day after she picked him up at the airport and he seemed fine. Adorable.
