| urgent cross post this is so sad i got this in an email i hope she finds her baby we have a stolen Yorkie, stolen form the home of the Treasurer of the TSFMLS fund....while she was home.. Please cross post this to all your groups.....seems there have been several stolen from homes in her area.. this is a very tiny 2 lb little girl...... She lives in Corsicana, Texas.....anyone in that area please call your Vets to be on the look out for this little one or your local shelters...she is Tattooed.....!!! you may also contact Lorraine ...vanlori@sbcglobal.net Thank You I believe someone stole Squirt right out of our house yesterday. Both Fay and Squirt were barking franticly at our front door. I went to check and saw nothing. In about an hour, it happened again. This time though, I heard a nose. When I got up to check, again I saw nothing. Joe got home from work but, Squirt didn't meet him at the door. He asked me where she was and I said she must be sleeping somewhere. We have searched every nook and cranny, but no Squirt. Joe and I believe that she was stolen right out of our house. We are heartbroken. I keep checking the house, over and over, yet I know she is not here. I've called the police, shelter, newspaper and radio. Please pray that we find Squirt. She is a 2 pound six year old female in a short cut. I think what saved Faye is that she is leery of strangers and backs away. Squirt runs to be petted. Lorraine Please cross post this for me. |

| Squirt That's so wrong.... it made me instantly think if Simon who also would run into the arms of anyone. I can't imagine the mindset of someone who would take a family member from her home. I hope this ends up as a happy ending. Jeni |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | It's happening ALOT ...Texas is having a huge problem with it - on the news and everything.... and a woman who I assist with an MSN GROUP has a friend who this has happened to TWICE ! Plus, one was one of her very own puppies this friend got .... Lots of times - if you're out with your yorkie or other purebreed - they spot and follow you home - so everyone BE CAFEFUL when taking your baby out - it can happen so easily....especially if they're like mine and play in the yard...most of these stolen breeds are taken from the backyards.... |

| It is scary that someone stole her from her home and while the owner was there. I would never feel safe again. I hope they catch the person and Squirt is back home soon.

| Ugh! That just makes me SICK! That poor baby is probably scared to death! I am praying for a safe return! We are having a huge problem with it too in my area... not just yorkies, but small dogs in general! My FedEx lady's 9yr old yorkie was stolen out of her yard and her neighbor's chi was stolen from her house, very similar to this story of squirt! Does anyone remember about a year ago the crosspost abt the guy in LA that took his yorkie with him everyday to work and he had the same routine every morning of going into the Sbux for coffee and he would leave his Yorkie in the car in the carrier for just a minute while he would grab his coffee .... Well, one day someone broke the window of his car and stole the baby in the carrier. They had watched him and knew his routine. Well of course the owner offered a reward and the same people that stole it ended up being the people to receive the reward.. which at that point is basically ransom! These people KNOW that we would play whatever they asked to get our little ones back! More than we would ever consider paying to adopt a yorkie bc at this point we are soooo attached that its like ransom for one of our children!!! Anyway... sorry to run on, but just please everyone be soo soo careful! When I take Tino or Bunny with me anywhere... I always keep them clipped into the the carrier by their harness and then use the child safety clip thats on the basket at the pet supply store to latch the carrier in... you just never know when someone could just run up and grab the whole carrier right off your should just like they would "puse snatch." By the time you realized what was going on it could be too late! They could have someone with the car on waiting and could just jump right in and take off! I honestly just think you can never be too careful!

| That is sooo sad... people he steal someone's pets are just as bad as people abducting kids, your taking someones baby away! I'll try spead the news... really feel for those poor people, hope there's a happy ending... good luck to them, xXx, hope it turns out alright... wait, while i think of it, did anyone read about that chihauaha that was stolen from a car, while the window as open? They got it back, even though the dog-knappers tried to hold it for ransom, asking for $250... the pup was okay, though, and the dog-knappers were reported to police.

| My friend has a Chow. when it was a puppy he let it out in the back yard that is totally fenced in with 6 ft. fencing. He went and took a quick shower. When he came out there was a man in his back yard. He grabbed a bat and confronted the man wearing only a towel. The guy claimed he just wanted to play with the puppy. My friend told him he was going to bat him out of the park if he ever saw him again. They now leave ther dogs inside whenever they are not home. |

| Oh, my gosh! Corsicana, Texas? My uncle lived there. It's not that big of a place. I've heard of people coming into fenced yards to steal dogs, but I've never heard of anyone coming into your home to steal them! |
