| Have you ever had a nightmare involving your yorkie?? Last night I had this terrible nighmare that Reece was hit by a car...I wont get into the gorry details but it was very detailed...my cocker was killed two years ago and I remember the pain of him dying in my arms. Today I just havent been able to shake that vision of Reece mangled up and I even woke up bawling my eyes out...why do we have nightmares...I know there is a representation thing for dreams but when dreams turn into nightmares what could that possibly represent?? Anyone else even have terrible nightmares? I thought that was a childhood thing.. Dawn |

| I've had bad dreams/nightmares about my yorkies several times. Usually one or both of them goes missing and I'm calling them and crying and searching everywhere for them. I had one the other night about both of them getting lost in a cave, and I'm on my hands and knees searching through the tunnels for them. I'm so relieved when I wake up and it's only a dream.

| I've had nightmare about a yorkie, and I don't even have one yet. I had a dream that I lost him, but he magically appeared somehow. |

| I think thats what it is. Usually we have dreams about things we think about a lot, whether we love them, hate them, fear them, etc.

| I have nightmares a lot about Tobey getting hit by a car. when he was 3 or 4 months old, he got out the front door somehow while i was planting flowers in the front yard, I tried to call him and get him to come to me, but he kept running around the yard like it was a fun game! Then, out of the corner of my eye I see a car coming down the street- a small hill just before our house- it was like slow motion... I felt so helpless because he just kept running all around. To my horror he ran straight out in the street just as the car was coming right for him! I screamed and in that second, he turned around about a foot from the wheel of the car! the ladies driving stopped and helped me catch him. they were so worried because they didn't see him until it was too late and they were worried when i screamed they had hit him. Since then I have horrible dreams that it happens all over again but he really gets hit. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost him!!

| I don't dream very often and I definitely have nightmare's more than happy dreams. My Yorkie nightmare is usually about them almost getting hit by a car.

| This is going to sound crazy but I have these nightmares from the show Nip/Tuck when they had that nasty character the carver that would carve people's faces. In my dream I wake up to find my bedroom covered in blood and Simon and Hallie's faces have been carved. It's horrible and I've been having it for over a year now. I hate it~ |

| This is weird, because last night I did have a nightmare...and I know it was about Winston, but I can not remember what. I just woke up with this horrible feeling, laid there a second before I had the nerve to reach down and feel him...to be sure he was alright. When I got up this morning, I told my hubby about it...how scary it was...even though I don't remember anything about it...hmmmmm...I just hope it really has no meaning at all...

| Just last week I had a dream that my daughter was playing in the front yard, which is weird cause we have a fenced in back yard, and we live on a busy street, so I would never let me dogs run around the front. Anyways, she was playing with another girl, and Abbie (my 6 month old furbaby) ran out in front of a car and attached trailer, and got ran over from the back tires of the trailer. Then come to find out it was my husband that did it, on accident. I sat there and froze when I saw it, and then started screaming. Weird thing was, I saw her run back towards the house and she seemed fine at first. She was in shock of course. After looking more closely at her, I noticed her jaw was broke. I started screaming again, THEN I WOKE UP!!!! But you know when you wake up and you feel like you were crying out loud? Of course the first thing I did when I saw Abbie was hold her and tell her how much I loved her. And I watched her very closely thinking that she was going to get loose and run in front of a car. I hate nightmares!

| OMG.. I had a HORRIBLE one that someone was trying to boil my Fletcher in a big lobster pot and she put him in and then a few mins later dumped it onto the floor and he was still alive and I was screaming that he is suffering and i wanted her to put him back in the pot and he looked up at me with the saddest eyes that clearly said "mom, why dont you love me anymore?" and I grabbed him up and was trying to tend to his burns and tell him how much I loved him! OMG.. It was HORRIBLE!!! I woke up REALLY upset! Crying and I kept hugging him.... he must have thought I was NUTS! haha Im just soooo glad hes ok!! this dream was MONTHS ago and I still remember it clearly!
