So, is that bad? I looked at Chorkie (Mix) photos on the internet and she doesn't look like them either? We are so confused. We love her anyway. She is 10 weeks old and 1.8 pounds of fiesty puppy!

Definitely part short haired Chihuahua. The pictures you were looking at were probably Yorkies mixed with long haired Chihuahuas. Try this link for pictures of pups who are part yorkie and part short haired chihuahua. They do look like your little one. This page also shows pure Yorkie pups so you can see the difference.

That is definitely a yorkie/chihuahua mix. She's a cutie though! We have another yorkietalker that has a yorkie/chihuahua mix. I can't remember her username, maybe someone else can...her baby's name is Summerlin.

She is adorable.

I noticed she has a collar on. They are okay for decoration or for their tags but use a harness when you walk her. Collars can damage their tracheas.

As long as you love her...that's what counts!!! She is adorable. Ditto about her wearing a harness instead of a collar when you walk her to prevent trachea collapse.

My first Yorkie named Maïa had a short coat . She looked like an Australian Terrier .

Thanks for all who replied. Yes, we love her totally. No matter what!

I switched to a harness within 2 days of getting her. She loves to go for walks and as I mentioned, we are litter box training her. She is really smart for 10 weeks! So glad I found this site.
