| ![]() I love my babies just the way they are, but if you want to show or bred your baby you have to know if your baby is within yorkie standards before you invest time and money. My yorkies are where they are "suppose" to be as far as standards go, and are in very god health, without a genetic flaw within some many generations. My yorkies are my babies, but if they were not in AKC standards then they would not be bredable. I, as a breeder do not want to pass genetic flaws, too small, or too big to the pups or the new owners. I want people whom adopt my babies to be very happy with my pups. That is my job as a breeder to ensure my pups are of "quality". If my babies were not in yorkie standards I would love them just the same but I would not bred them. If I come across something new, or have any questions this place is the perfect place to find information!

| ![]() I must be the oddball on YT, because i was actually looking for a dog that would hopefully be bigger than akc standard, haha and I ended up with a whopping 4 pounder, yeah, i know, compose yourselves, he's such a massive beast, haha. the moral of this story is that Vinnie is one of a kind, i love all 4 pounds of him, he's only 7 months and whether he gains more or not i just don't care, he is such a sweet and loving little furball! Great post by the way, i'll admit, i'm quick to defense and I did get a little offended by the thread starting post but i decided to see how others answered before I would make my decision on whether to reply and what to say. "You can't always get what you want!" but in the end, you love them just the same!
