| Donating YT 14K Club Member | PEOPLE PLEASE!!! Keep up with your dog's nails. They should never be allowed to get really long. Realize, it is painful for a dog with nails too long to walk. The nails push the toes back at an angle. Nails should be trimmed regularly.

| My hubby took a shot at clipping Frankie's nails today. Frankie really resists anyone doing anything to him--haircuts, baths, especially his nails. He had to be sedated last time his nails were cut and even then, he still squirmed. Anyway, he bled today and after that, my husband stopped. I felt so bad for poor Frankie. The bleeding's stopped, but I just read some of the posts above. My question is, do I have to put flour on the cut even though the bleeding's stopped? Is there a risk of infection? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!! |
