| What do you do with your dog when you are out of town I was wondering what everyone does. We are going out of town for a week in December (yes I'm planning way ahead) and don't know what to do with Rosie. I can't leave her with family because we are all going and don't want to board her because they leave her in a crate all day. My friends either can't handle a dog for a week or have big dogs that she doesn't do well with. That doesn't leave much choice for me What do you do when you are away? |

| We left Xena with a pet resort for 4 days in April and will be doing it again when we go on a cruise in October. Our place walked her 4 times per day, she had a 5x5 room and you could order amenities like a kong toy once per day, extra playtime with the staff and grooming services. Plus our vet was in the same building so I knew she was safe. Maybe try looking into something like this - they are popping up all over our city. Good luck!

| I live near my breeder so she keeps Nathan for me when I go out of town and can't take him with me!!! Do you have any petsmart hotels near you?? They have the camera's you can acess on line to check on your babies and play areas etc.!! Good luck on your search !! I am sure you will find a happy resolution given you are starting early!!

| Wesley is going to be 2 in about 3 months and he's never spent one night away from us! I'm interested to hear what others have to say because my boyfriend and I would really like to be able to travel without Wes and Maddie in the future. I wish I could always take them, but Wesley gets so nervous that he makes himself sick. Which makes trips no fun for us and for him. |

| Find someone to come to your house and feed, walk, and play with her several times a day. It would be even better if you could find someone that would be willing to stay at your house with her.

| Ellie stays with family. They know how to spoil her just as good as we do. I really don't like the idea of boarding. I can't imagine leaving her with someone I'm not close to unless its her vet or maybe someone from YorkieTalk.

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | when im gone Well, we did our Yorkie thing as a family...I got Bella first, then my sister and my ex husband's fiance both got Bella's sisters from the next litter Then I got Diggy. My sister and I both have 2 kids and all 4 play travel sports as well as school sports. I am out of town at least 1 weekend a month for some kind of Tournamant and so are they so we just take turns. And if for some reason we r both out of town WE PANIC lol No my hubby will usually stay behind and watch them. When we go on long vacations they come with us. We were in Florida for 2 weeks in April....Fur babies came with us and had a GREAT vacation. Being a mom of a pre teen and a teen, I dont plan many vacations, just doesnt work with all these babies! I dont mind I am soooo used to living for my kids, I just treat is as if I had 2 more!

| Bring her to my house!!! I'm sure I could handle one more. I board mine when we go out of town. We are heading to Jamaica next week and I have to board mine. It will be the first time boarding 3 of them but the chihuahua is a pro and has been to this kennel several times. They really treat them pretty well and they will be in 7 ft x 10 ft kennel all together and get 3 play times outside every day. They also take turns taking them up front with the girls for a little extra attention. I'm a little nervous but I feel better about having them there then having someone come to my house and take care of them. It is so hard to walk 4 at once and I'm also afraid that one of them might sneak out the door and run off. We watch them so close but not sure if someone else would be that careful. Let me know if you want to bring your little one to Atlanta while your gone. |

| I would never board mine, so i trust my family, my mom and dad to watch them. I have younger brothers and sisters so they enjoy playing with Kelsey and keep her company. If they can't watch her i'll have my sister or a close friend watch her for me. Try to get someone from work to watch yours if you dont have family near by.
