I am so heatsore for you and your precious little Nicky. Hugs to you and sending prayers for your baby's safe return. Don't give up hope, there have been cases posted here of Yorkies missing for days, and then being found.

Go back to places you have searched before. You never know. Are there any service dogs in your area that are used for seeking/searching. You could give them one of your baby's blankets/toys to sniff and then seek.

As far as I know there aren't any service dogs like that in our area. I wish there were and I wish I knew about them.

I am so afraid he's out in the woods and hurt and suffering. Oh, how I pray that is not the case. I check outside around the house every couple of hours hoping he might be out there. The other dogs bark like crazy and I go running to see what they are barking about, even if I just checked 5 minutes ago. So far it's only been the neighbor's cats. I would never do it but right about now I wish I had a paint ball gun or something to drive them off. They didn't bother me before but I know the other dogs will bark at Nicky if he shows up and I want to know the instant he shows up if at all possible.

Could you find a search dog volunteer to help you? The track dog could sniff out something and follow tracks, etc. Surely, there would be a volunteer that would do it for a poor little one like your sweetie.

I am sorry for your loss. maybe you can get a large group of people together and take a whole day to just search the woods really good. cover as much ground as possible. use cell phones and walky talkies to keep in touch. maybe try setting food out unless you've got animals around that would be unwanted such as bears. but if your in an area where you don't have to worry about those larger animals then setting food out may help if your baby gets closer to home.

I was checking back and hoping that Nicky returned home safe and sound but he's not. Even if he doesn't return home, I hope wherever he is that he has enough food and water.

I am the same I alwasy start at the end of the post trying to get the results first....not know where her baby is....its just killing me.....

Our local rescue organization has microchips for $25 and I have heard that the local animal shelter has them for less ($20?). Just in case the only price you were quoted was at the vet.

We are also praying for Nicky!
