Safe travels today, Lori and Bre! Loved seeing the pictures of the beautiful Patticake...what a face!

I can just picture her holding court on that park bench, too! She'll certainly be the belle of the neighborhood...and such a lovely neighborhood for her to grow up in! Lots of butterflies for her to chase!

Morning Lori, Bre, Patticake, Kody and Daisy - how ya all doing?? Did you all have a good night's sleep, or did li'l Patticake have an attack of the "zoomies" in the middle of the night?
I will be thinking of you all today. Bre, take good care of your Mama and the furballs. You are just the BEST navigator ever - who needs Google maps when you are around, I ask you?

Lori, Bre, and babies...you are in my prayers and thoughts. I tell everyone I see about the YT train to Papi. All the people around me who have been making fun of me for being on YT all the time are changing there tune. I even heard my husband telling someone about the train yesterday

Papi what are you thinking, did you sleep last night? You're going to need your rest, cuz soon your going to be a very busy man keepin' up with that little spitfire!!! Hi everyone, Jack and I phoned Papi last night and wanted to relay a message to you from him. He wants everyone to know how greatly he appreciates all the kindness and love that has been bestowed to him from you all here. He has tried to reply to all the posts and pm's but just hasn't been able to keep up.

As you all know the depression and the terrible lonliness that Papi went through upon loosing his beloved Kassie. Prior to that loosing his wife to cancer. He has not gotten much needed sleep nor rest since Kassie passed. He is so overwhelmed with the outpouring of love for him, we wish you could hear him speak the words of love and appreciation for each of you and the gratitude from his heart for all that you have brought back into his life, with getting PattiCake, you are helping him to go from the transition of the terrible depression and lonliness to days now once again with joy and smiles into his life.

Jack and I have talked with Papi many, many times by phone. In our conversation last night we told him to get caught up on his much needed sleep and rest these next couple of days, looks like the past few months has had a way of catching up with him and yesterday he did go to the Dr. his blood pressure was elevated, he said never in his life had he had high blood pressure. Like the Dr. assured him to rest and relax and it will come back down. If Papi isn't on the computer today and tomorrow it is because Jack and myself told him to keep it off and just get caught up on the much needed rest he has lacked over the past few months.

Many of us have not gone through what Papi has with the loss of his beloved wife then his companion Kassie, what a lonely world it can be when we have to experience such as that, thank God for the caring and loving people such as yourselves to bring sunshine back into his life. God Bless each of you for the wonderful people you are, we will be giving Papi a call today, thank you for your prayers and for all each of you have done.

He is looking forward to meeting everyone Saturday and it was our suggestion to Papi that to meet at Elaine's was better as he lives in a very small senior apartment. Elaine what a wonderful lady you are and remember to rest these next couple days so you can enjoy everyone and this wonderful blessed occasion.

Lori thank you for keeping us all updated, Papi has worried so much about you and Bre being on the road, as you told me prior to your trip that you are use to traveling and so Papi felt more assured last night. He has such love for you in what you and Bre are doing. We will post later today after we talk with Papi.

It's through your outpouring of love for another that started this beautiful "ride" that has brought so many YT's together. I will truly miss this thread when Patticake is in his arms. I know this must be overwhelming for Papi...I too have been worried about him not sleeping, he most definitely needs to rest. I like many others here do not expect him to answer my post...just want him to know how I feel for him, his loss of his wife in it self is devastating, and then to have loss his precious Kassie...I know he felt as if his world had come to an end...But then he found YT, and the rest is history!!! Papi...My heart aches for your losses, and it has been my pleasure to have helped you thru this in my little way...Know in your heart that I, we, want the very best for you, but you have to take care of yourself first, so that you will be able to enjoy the homecoming of PattiCake...Trust me, your life will become whole again, you will have a purpose, you will be happy...Hugs and please take care!!!

I can remember how sad those early posts were and I can't tell you what a wonderful gift it has been for me to watch the transformation from sad and lonely to anxious anticipation. I know I am far from alone in this feeling!

I know you and your Jack have had a big hand in this (nods to Corinne and Dan, and Connie, too) so special kudos to all of you.

And Lori ... I don't know if there are words.
