I really, REALLY hate that I have to say this, but most likely no for me

It's way too far for one day, and unless it starts raining money, it's just not looking too good. I'm a "starving student" in university and just don't have the extra money unfortunately. I know it's far away & I could probably save, but my cheapest book this semester was over $300 used. Dang nursing books.

I'm really sad. MAYBE if there's an opportunity to road trip, but it's still SO far for one day.

If I win the lottery, I'll be there for sure

I am Sure that even if the Meet is Just one day there can be other things for the whole gang of use to do and maybe even a organized Fun cruise or something . And if we are all at the Same Hotel and have the Darling hubbies with us or not Get the ones that do have them to watch the pups and Go Shopping or to the the Casino for a few hours. Just cause the (meet) is One day don't mean you have to stay only one day

If we go, we would get there on Thursday or Friday. More than likely staying at a campground, if there is one close by. I agree that 1 day isn't very long for those that travel far but if there are others, some of us could get together and have a cookout or something on Friday night at the campground (weather permitting).... The dogs could play in the xpens and socialize, too.
Most campgrounds allow pets, if they are picked up after. Some even have picnic shelters, too!

I would love to come but probably no its a 12 hour drive for me and with 4 yorkies I don't think so...but you guys will have a great time....

I will get there with no hair Lori....I would be scared to death on the road with all of them and even if I just brought 2, it would be tough....maybe there will be one closer to us later on....

I'm going to give it a maybe. The round-trip airfare from NYC is around $250,
with the hotel, meals, transportation to and from the airport, etc., I'm figuring around $600 for a couple of days. Not a fortune, but still a hopeful maybe.

Just haven't made up my mind... It would definitely be to fly so I would like to do more than just one day, but I guess I'm a maybe yes ?? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go, but that's a long way off for me to decide...

I really wanna go!! I told my husband about you planning this the other day....even he said "yeah, that'd cool!" He knows how much you guys have been there for me the past week or so (and always), and I tell him the stories I read here, etc...he understands my addiction

Anyway....I don't think I can fly with 3??? I will cry if we can't go! We are taking the motorhome to Oklahoma in July....that might determine whether we are in for this kind of road trip again!! haha!
Aren't there Tornados in Kansas?? Please, plan around that season

Oh Lori, please don't misunderstand. I lived in KCK for over 25 years and love Kansas City. Most of my family still live in KCK but the downtown KCK area is pretty rough. There are lots of nice places in and around the area and several campgrounds and nice parks. I really didn't mean to offend. Patty
