| L'oreal Your Dog Is Worth It Day - Aug 18th The L'Oreal Your Dog Is Worth It Too day is set for Sat., Aug. 18th, this year, from 9 to 4, at the L'Oreal USA Facility in Cranbury, NJ. We went last year, and had a blast. It only costs $10 per adult, dogs are free, and it includes a really cool doggie bag full of great doggie items as well as some fun L'Oreal products for us. There's food, entertainment, doggie contests, vendor booths, and lots more. We do plan on going again this year. It would be great to meet some YT'rs there with their babies. For more info, check out the website .... www.yourdogisworthittoo.com

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Uhhhh....not to be a buzz kill - but L'oreal is one of THE most notorious companies that STILL tests its cosmetics and other products (Biotherm, Cacharel, Garnier, Giorgio Armani, Helena Rubinstein, Lancôme, Matrix Essentials, Maybelline, Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Redken, Soft Sheen, Vichy) on dogs and other animals. These tests are absolutely unconscionable and unnecessary. Just wanted to post this so you have all the info on what you may be supporting. No offense whatsoever intended.

No offense from me either and if you do go - maybe you could talk to them and ask WHY ???? EDITED TO ADD - I spoke before I checked - it could be that they're trying to change their stand on animal testing - This was just released at the beginning of THIS month http://publications.mediapost.com/in...&art_aid=60040

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi Villette - darn, I can't read that article - it requires an account to read it. Does it say L'oreal is finally, finally, finally changing their stance on their cruel practices? They've hinted about changing for years, and I hope they mean it this time. It would be a great change for them!
