| Why isn't her hair fluffy??? I went to see my puppy yesterday, and her hair is still really thin. Last time I noticed a bald spot on her head and nose, and that is going away, but her hair seems so thin, and not fluffy like other puppy pics I see on here. Around her face it's starting to get fluffy, but the rest of her body it isn't. Does this sound normal to anyone? She just doesn't look like what other pups her age look like, at least from the ones I see on here.

| Piper didn't have alot of hair when we got her at 13 weeks, but she had giardia, and that caused her hair to thin. I'm not sure when all their hair is supposed to be healthy & full. Although Max his hair is very full, we got him at 12 weeks.

| ^Thanks for the info. I hope it's nothing serious, maybe just lack of a protien or something. I'll definitly check into giarda though.

| Sukoshi had giardia when we brought her home too, but I don't recall noticing any thin spots in her fur. How old is your prospective baby? |

| Do you have any pictures of her? Daisy's hair is fine and silky when she was a pup it looked really thin. But Kodie has wooly hair and he was a fluff ball. |

| Thanks guys! Be honest, am I just being over-worried? I know you guys would tell the truth if you thought something was wrong w/ her.

| Your baby is a cutie. Her hair may get fluffier as she gets older. She may have a wirey coat so the texture is different. |

I don't think anything is wrong with her, I just think that her coat is thin because she's still young. Has the breeder had her vet checked? If the vet says she's okay, then I wouldn't worry. Her coat will go through alot of changes as she gets older. If you have concerns that her hair is too thin, maybe taking her to the vet yourself would help ease your mind. What about the other pups in the litter, is their hair the same as hers? | |

| That is kind of strange... Your baby has totally different hair than my little one...Wobie is a fluffball. But I'm thinking that mine will develop a cottony coat, and if yours gets a wirey coat, then thats probably why they are so drastically different. How long until you get your puppy now?
