| Her big ol' ears! I have recently received so much encouragment from you guys here- thank you very much for taking the time! Since losing Lexi you may remember me chatting about another little girl and her big ears. I have to admit I've had some reservation about getting her because of the money I payed (which is not much compared to some of you) but it's a lot to me!!! She looks a little different than what I was originally looking for so my question is this. As their hair grows out is there a way to groom them so that their ears don't look so huge? Oh and yes I could wait on another litter but I don't think I can walk away from this sweet girl! thank you, Heather |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Awww she's cute !! Cheri had to grow into her ears....they do you know !! Here's my little Wabbit when she was a baby - and you can see her now in my avatar...her ears look really nice now They needed a trim in the picture - but that's one thing you can do to keep them smaller looking and also so the hair doesn't weigh them down - take a little electric trimmer and shave the top 1/3 of the ear |

| What a cutie she is. I love the big ears on Yorkie's. Buddy's head and ears were bigger than his body and he was a bigger Yorkie to start out with. His ears are big also and I think it gives them some character! Congratulations on your new furbaby. |

| I hear you..I purchased my Biewer a couple months ago. He was not as expensive as some because he was going to weigh more then the standard of 7lbs (so not good for breeding), well, also his ears are large and one is starting to flop over (even though I am taping it like crazy), he isn't as tiny as some of the Biewers I've seen (which are adorable), but I tell you he is the sweetest guy with the most endearing face, and yes, he is going to get larger then I anticipated but I've accepted it and he is now part of the family. Don't worry about her ears, as long as you love her and she is a good companion to you thats all that matters. She is so cute you won't even notice the ears!!! Kathy |
