I don't carry the Zada and Azrael since they have younger legs than me.

Seriously though, even when I got my Chihuahua 15 & 1/2 years ago when she was 3 months and was only 8 oz. I didn't carry her around either. I put a kitty harness on her and made her walk too!

I don't carry Bengi around the house. I think yorkies that are the "lap dog" type like that but Bengi is very playful and active so he likes to run around, play fetch and all that.

I HAVE to carry London cause she thinks she's a little princess

No seriously she stands up and puts her front legs on my legs so that I can pick her up all the time. Either that or she'll do this little act she does where she attempts to bark but doesn't actually bark. It's hilarious! Teddy loves to be on the ground, plus he's a little too heavy for me to carry all day but when the ground is dirty or wet I or my bf do.
