i didnt mean like puppies in general, i agree some dogs do like clothes . but when im buying a puppy, id rather see THE PUPPY. and yes, i do this an extreme amount of clothing (skirt, shirt, shoes, tiara, socks, belt ect..) all in 1 outfit, is ridiculous. | |

| I think that is sad. I don't have a problem with clothes in general but I think when they are so young it just frightens them and some dogs will never really like clothes at all. I think some people want them to like them SO much that they sort of force them to be a certain way when in fact they would be happier other wise. I think it's sad when they put them in objects to show how small they are. When they are so young they certainly have to be scared and it can't be fun to be squished into tiny things just for a cute picture. I know that most of these breeders do take off the gimics when they aren't taking pictures but I don't know, there's just something in a dogs eyes, you can see it, it's like they are sad, and I think if they are like that and don't enjoy wearing clothes they shouldn't be made to wear them. |

| Both those pictures were over-the-top! And the one with the puppy in the glass; I found that to be disturbing. . .

| You can definetly see it in their eyes when a puppy just isnt happy. once you look past the clothes, jewlery, cups ect.. you really can tell. maybe some good breeders just think its cute, but im sure some are just trying to hide a sad, sick looking puppy by adding all that stuff |

| I do not think the dog is suffering or in pain. This picture probably took few seconds. Everybody sells their puppies as they please and if you do not like it do not buy it! lol. simply as that! One thing about the yorkie sites is that they all have oldies music and stupid pictures but well... that Sells! |

| Donating YT 11K Club Member | I feel bad for that dog in the first pic. I just hope they really do take care of them and it was just for the pics but still, it must be so frightening for them. My two don't mind clothes and just frolick and play around when they have them on, they don't care but if I knew they really hated them then I wouldn't put it on them. |

| I don't think its too traumatizing for the dog itself, I just definitely would not buy a dog from a breeder who used a wine glass or teacup, or excessive clothing to sell a dog. These are generally the type of breeders that advertise 'teacups' and sell them for thousands upon thousands of dollars.

| I think its sad...that poor baby is adorable but looks scared to death in that glass...maybe they need pics of the breeder in a glass or wearing all that heavy bling bling around their tiny necks....
