Im on the search for a puppy, and i love looking at breeders websites and looking at their puppies. But something that really turns me off, is when the puppies are wearing too much clothing (dresses, tiaras, boas, pearls, ect..) and in unatural situations, like in tcups, champagne glasses, ect and they just dont look happy or comfortable.. . i showed my friends one of these places and they thought it was ADORABLE. dont get my wrong, i love bows, and clothing on yorkies, its cute, but not when they look scared and uncomfortable. and in order for me to see how small the puppy is maybe put it next to something, but i think putting a puppy in a glass is just wrong.

am i the only one who doesnt like this?

I would have to agree with you. I don't particularily like it either and I wonder what the puppy has to go through to get those cloths on?! I know sometimes the breeders think its cute to present it that way, and yes, they are cute and the photos creative, but I would like to see the actual puppy, the build, coat, etc. and not buy a puppy because the dress it had on was adorable. I don't like the photo of the pup in the glass...I'm thinking the pup might not like it either?!

I agree. I don't like when they do that...and Im sure they do not like being stuck into a glass or a mug!!

I'm with y'all. Puppies are so cute on their own- they don't need to be so staged.

Man that poor dog in the glass :( I don't think that's cute either..I think it's scary for the dog - but people find it tempting to buy dogs that small so there's always going to be sellers who use that as a marketing ploy.

if my girls looked THAT unhappy wearing clothes - I wouldn't put any on them... ever ..unless it was for their own protection like freezing cold weather

Not your girls, V!!! :) Those are the happiest looking dogs I've ever seen. They are always smiling in their pictures. :D

My Chloe is not much of a smiler....:( She has her moments, but it seems her mouth is always closed.

That is ridiculous, that poor dog in the wine glass looks like he or she is stuffed in there and the other one w/all the bling bling on it............give me a break!!!!:mad:

that poor dog in the glass!!:( there are other ways to show the dogs size in relationship to an object without subjecting it to that!!:mad: and the prima donna outfit!:rolleyes: that is too much jewelry for a woman!

i feel the same as you, but what is really annoying is the MUSIC. if there is music on a site, i just go to another site.

That first picture is especially horrible.

Not only does it look well, stupid; I'd be so afraid the glass would shatter and cut the poor puppy.

and its always the most annoying like baby songs and of course, they must be LOUD and scare the heck out of you lol

When selling a pup, I'd prefer to see a nekkid doggy with a little bow. :p
