| ![]() I want to thank everyone so much for your thoughts and prayers. No one can understood what I was and still am going through as much as you wonderful, caring people here on YT can. I appreciate this forum more then anyone could ever know. I wanted to give everyone an update on where I am at in the "furbaby" scheme of things. I read every single post and it helped me to realize that I do have love to give to another little baby, and I wouldn't be replacing Maxx, (which is what I was most afraid of, other then another hurt) but I would be sharing my love that I wanted to give to him to another little one. Maxx will not be forgotten but I can't let his loss stop me from being happy with another little Yorkie. So I went to the breeder who I got my Pixie (my Chi) from and saw a beautiful little boy that he had. I held him, snuggled with him and calmed him down. He was only 8 weeks old and away from his initial home for only 2 days when I saw him. He seemed to take to me but I was reluctant, something holding me back. So I came home that night and looked at our local news circular (which I had been checking religiously with no luck for the past several months) and there was an ad from a breeder for Yorkies, 2 males, 12 weeks old. So I called the next day and spoke with her for a long time. Everything about her and her Yorkies is what everybody hopes to find. She gave me her website address and I viewed the parents online and fell in love with her beauties. I went to her home that very day and stayed there for several hours. It was "Yorkie Heaven" so to speak. So many beautiful Yorkies right there as part of the family. They even take them all camping in their HUGE R.V. bus. Her and her husband treated me so wonderfully. More importantly, you could see the love they have for their furbabies. I sat on the floor with the two puppies and their mommy roaming around me and lo and behold the smallest of the two, which was deemed the independent one who never seems to bother with strangers, came and nibbled on me, curled in my lap, gave me kisses while we were trying to take a picture of me holding him, and snuggled under my chin. I attempted to get to know the other one but he seemed to not want any parts of me. I believe I have been "picked!!" So I left knowing I had found my perfect little boy. I took my husband and kids to see him yesterday. Of course my teen daughter fell in love with the other one (anything to be different then Mom I guess) but my husband also picked my boy, so I put a deposit down and we will bring him home this Friday. Cute as can be...PUPPY PERFECTION!! I am so excited to give all the love that I have to this little one. I can't wait to bring him home!! Sorry for the long update but I wanted to share my thanks and my happiness with everyone. You all are the best. I look forward to the future with my puppy and everyone here at YT!! Thanks again so much!!! *Now I need help naming him - Piper or Mulligan (Mully). My husband loves planes and golf. He's buying him for ME but I thought I might honor him by naming the puppy after one of his favorite things. Any input would be helpful. Think I'll start a new thread for this one =) Tammy

| ![]() Did they offer a refund? They really should, being that the puppy never even left the premises! I always call my deposits non-refundable unless something tragic happens to the puppy while in my care. Luckily nothing like that has ever happened, but to be fair to the buyer that is what I do. I am so happy that you found another baby though, and to not have to ship- what a blessing! You will be so happy with this new baby. By the way Piper is to cute!!! Good luck!

| ![]() Hi Again!! Yes Beth, fortunately they did give me a refund. It hit my account today...thank goodness. I was REALLY leery about getting another pup from them and was very hurt over Maxx. I'm so glad I found this wonderful, local breeder!! Piper or Mulligan (Mully)?

| ![]() Sure, I'd be glad to share the website. She doesn't have pics posted of this current litter (they just moved into their new home and she didn't get to the website yet) but she does have the parent's pictures on her site. My little man came from Sasha and Lil' Bear. Thought both were just adorable parents. Even cuter in person. I wonder if my little one will have a lot of silver in his coat when he gets older. Martha still has one little male left out of 3 boys and 1 girl. He too is adorable. She would probably send pics of him if anyone is interested. Let me know what you think of her site! Thanks!! www.marthaspreciousbabies.com P.S. Those are her Yorkies on the home page. Sasha is the one in the back with the "bat" ears ![]()
