| do puppies get pimples ? My little girl now 5 months 1 day weight a wopping 2 pounds has this weird looking pimple. It was so funny when i would try to look at it she would tighten her legs together it was so cute. But anyway i had noticed it before but it was small and it started to grow a bit large with the puss showing so i took her to the bathroom and started to wash it out and i popped it not sure i should have. But thats what i do when i have one. And i put some ointment on it. Is it normal to see. I didnt want to take her to the vet because of it. lol |

| Just keep an eye on it. Sounds to me like she might have gotten a splinter or something that got infected. As long as it begins to heal, no worry. If it lingers, I would go on to the vet. Watch for redness, too.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | It could also be an ANT bite (or worse - a spider bite) but ...Fire Ants will leave a bump that sounds like you described - but I would put anti-biotic on it and WATCH it carefully and if it doesn't start getting better in a day - call your vet - |

| Zsa Zsa have had some between the age of 5 to 7 months old . I went to see the vet with her and she told me that it is often like human puberty . Some can have pimples and some don't . After the age of 7 months , It was over , I never saw one . |

| Just make sure that you wait about 3 days after you give her a bath to put the fromline on. Sometimes they get little pimples like we do, just keep putting the anitbiotic on, but if it doesn't clear up in a day or two or looks works, make sure that you take her in...

| You are supposed to wait a few days before and after bathing so that the medication has itme to fully absorb into the skin. |

| It is normal for dogs to get pimples from time to time. My male, Tigg gets them occasionally. You should pop them and most of the time they heal up fine. Once he had one that was quite large and I used neosporin on it. My vet tells me it is very normal. |

| According to my vet, the reason you should wait a few days after a bath to put the Frontline (or other brand) of flea stuff on is so that their skin can get a little oily again. Those topical flea treatments "react" (for lack of a better word) with the natural oils on their skin.
