| Oh no, I am so sorry! Bobbi had a similar experience and they did X-rays to find out he had an enlarged colon-empacted with fecal matter. He got meds and I fed him Baby Gerber and pedialyte for a few days. Will be praying!

| Thanks guys! I called the vet on my lunchbreak to see how Hobbs was doing and to see if I could pick him up. The vet said she still wanted to keep him for a little while longer and possibly do some bloodwork this afternoon. Hope it's nothing serious! I'll keep everyone updated! Thanks again for the well-wishes and prayers. |

| It's good that he's at the vet - cuts down on your worrying while you're at work. Prayers that the blood work shows nothing, and that he just needs to poop.

| They did bloodwork and everything is 100% perfect. She is going to do an abdominal x-ray just to be safe and call me when she gets the results. |

| FINAL RESULTS ARE IN!!!!!!!!!!! The abdominal x-ray showed some fecal matter in his colon but it was NO impacted. She said the x-ray DID show that his anal glands needed to be expressed. She said when the anal glands are NOT expressed they fill up and it is painful for them to potty when they are full and they try to hold it. This is most likely what Hobbs was doing.....holding his poop bc it was painful for him to potty bc his anal glands were full. So, she expressed the glands and he is good to go now! YIPPEE!!!!!!!! The prayers and well-wishes definately paid off. Thanks everyone SO MUCH! I truly appreciate everything! |
