Thanks I'll try the chicken broth. I have tried cheese...she won't go near it? LOL I think I got a lemon...she doesn't like any human food and she's the only dog on the planet who won't play with her KONG toys

| At one point we resorted to putting dabs of liverwurst on our picky little eater's food. That would get her started on it and once she started she'd eat fairly well. Professional trainers use liverwurst to reward with. Dogs love it. But a word of caution: don''t overdo it. Liverwurst is high fat and if they are allowed to eat unlimited amounts it could lead to pancreatitis. |

| Sorry, I ment to say HIM 1/2 cup of your dry food (soaked in water till soft. they can stop eating just because there tired of chewing) 1 raw egg 1 jar Gerber strained baby meat 1/2 teaspoon Nutri-Cal 2 tablespoons powdered puppy replacement milk Mix this all together, This will last a few days so keep in refrig but warm up what you take out (not hot). serve on a plate (not in a bowl) or hand feed with a teaspoon every 2 to 4 hours. Also keep him in a playpin or confined in a 4x4 area so he doesn't burn off more calories than he eats, and only take him out to play for short periods of time till he gains a bit more weight. Also get him checked again for worms to be on the safe side. Last edited by spoiledrottenpo; 05-01-2007 at 08:04 PM. Reason: him/her |
