| Any experts? Look at Mimi's dark, dark mouth hair Ok I just posted on another forum asking if this is normal .Mimi's hair around her mouth is black. I really have never seen a yorkie with suchblack hair around their mouth. A very tiny, tiny bit of gold is starting to grow around it that you can see in the pic barely. Her hair is so thin and whispy What shampoos are good for such thin hair . It looks brittle. It's not the cottony coat .Within two days of washing her, her hair looks almost greasy but it's nothttp://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y20...ifaceclose.jpg This is Mimi with Cookie. She is about 1lb smaller than he is but he seems almost as short lol http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y200/gennel/5mo2.jpg |

| well HELLO Mimi! =) Rylees hair seems thin too, and gets kind of greasy. I thought it was just a silky hair thing.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I wonder if her coat will change more - how old is she now ? I still think she is adorable though...She has the brightest little eyes in that picture and that dress is totally adorable ! Vitacoat is what I use on Cheri and it makes her SHINE - |

| Your babies are so cute! I wouldn't worry about how dark the hair is around Mimi's face, it will probably lighten up as she gets older. How old is she now? Even if it doesn't, she still is so sweet. I can't help you on the hair issue, two of my boys have a cottony coat and the other has silky but I just use what I use on the other two and it's fine. Maybe go lightly on the conditioner if you use it... Theresa & The Boys |

| She turned 5 months on May 29 . That's why I havent asked for advice sooner. I know she's still a puppy so I'm pretty sure her hair color will deffinately change . I thought she would love being dressed up...not! Cookie can wear anything all day long but she always manages to have her dress with one shoulder off! lol Genie |

| Don't worry too much about the black around her mouth , it will change when she'll mature . Sandrine was very dark and almost don't have hair . At 2 years old she started to change . She is now 3 years and 1/2 and look how she is now: |

| Oh my gosh, your dog's face coloring is amazing! I have never seen one like that before....puppy or adult. I have, however, seen that coat before. My Kopper had the exact same coat. It did slowly grow as he got older, but would never touch the floor in a million years. I tried all sorts of things...Brewers Yeast is good for the skin and coat. No shampoo or conditioner made a difference past the first 8 hours. He was the same, after a couple of days he looked like he was ready for another bath. However, too much is not good. I am not kidding, Mimi has an outstanding face as far as I'm conserned. Both of your dogs are beautiful!!! I would love to see a picture of her when she gets her adult coat (usually not until around 2 years). Thanks for sharing the photo!! Julz |
