| Nicole next week is fine for me Im working till 6 and I get home around 6;30 if its to late lets think about weekend...I live about 45 min. from LIVS...I spoke with someone at Livs about acupuncture for Tahoe and Im not really happy how they do it...in order for Tahoe to get the treatment I need to live him in day care and they will call me when his done its not easy for us to handle this..the acupuncture is price and on top of this day care charges apply and Im not happy to live him in there..that will put more stress on him not knowing what is going on...so Im looking in some places where they will do it by app. I found one clinic in Westbury and I will call them tomm...ps; I feel like if I have to spend $20 extra on day care for no reason I will put this money towards his acupuncture and get him more sessions... |

If I am able to help drive you somewhere, I surely will. I was recently on Franklin Avenue and saw a vet there "AA something?" maybe that would be more convenient for you? My vet is on Jericho Tpk in Garden City Park ... they have a hospital there also, but I doubt if they have the MRI and advanced stuff like that. The place in Plainview looks very comprehensive to me.

I am taking Friday to the vet today, so I shall ask if they know anyone or anything about acupuncture ... or what the proper procedure is for a 1 1/2 year old pup who had a stroke ... I'll get back to you after 6pm ... Debbie

| Hi, I asked my vet today and she said there is only one acupuncturist on Long Island that she knows. His name is Dr. Wen and he is in Suffolk county, but I did not get the name of the place and I cannot find him in the white pages b/c I do not know the zip code. Maybe you can get your vet to tell you. However, it is still far from you ... http://www.peteducation.com/article....articleid=1334 http://www.theholisticvet.com/vet_acupuncture2.html Good Luck, Debbie

| I am going to find out what's going on here. Please everyone try to stay calm. Myself and a few other people are right in the middle of this. I have gone to the Vet hospital and Tahoe is Paralzyed and he still is. I have talked to the coordinater at the hospital who has confirmed all of this. On the other congentialgroup, Kasia did talk to me about a girlfriend of hers that has been looking for a yorkie and if I could recommend someone to her friend. I have sopken to Kasia on the phone as well as others too. I seriously doubt that she is that stupid to come on here looking for a yorkie for herself with all this going on. BUT...I will call her and find out what this is all about! Please hold tight and I will get you some answers as soon as possible. |
