They need to be taught at an early age indeed.........her parents worry me. I feel so bad because no one wants them to visit. She is always welcomed to my home but MUST follow my rules. If the mother were to have a problem.........too bad-too sad. My pets are my children and I expect everyone to treat them like so-more so in MY home. The lady lives in regret because this girl won't listen to her no matter what. She is far gone already and it's so sad. I am glad I talked to her though. I could have just alienated her like the rest.....but took a stab at it and was very truthful. She's still around

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | My kids don't act like that around dogs becuase they have always been around them. The don't act up in public at all. I took my kids to a friends house that has 100 pound dogs. He let those dogs do whater they wanted. My kids were terrified. Sometimes it is best to put the dogs up. I would have. He wouldn't so we left.

| I no longer invite one of my best friends of 20 years over to my house anymore because of her two small kids. When my friend would come over, she would allow for her kids to chase after my Yorkies and the dogs didnt like it so they would bark at the kids. When the kids couldnt catch the dogs then they would start kicking at my dogs while chasing after them. I would ask the kids to stop and of course my friend would say nothing to her kids. Finally, I yelled at her kids to stop chasing and kicking at my dogs and the little girl burst into tears with a big production of how her wittle feelings were hurt because I yelled at her. My friend consoled her little girl and while hugging her she told her daughter in a soothing voice "its Ok baby, it's not your fault" and I looked at her like 'the F it wasn't". I finally said, why dont we all go outside since it such a nice day out. So we all go outside and then the little brat girl goes up to my glass storm door and starts banging on it with both hands. I had to yell at the girl again because her mother wouldnt. I told the little girl to get her hands off my nice clean door because I had just wipped it down that morning and of course the dogs are barking wildly now. Finally the neighbor across the street rescued me, said she needed my help with something and my friend left on that cue. Ever since then, I have never invited her along with her kids over. |

| I can respect anyone who does not like dogs ,cats or other animals but there is a big difference when you see what they were doing was going to hurt my pet. I'm not a cat person, just don't like cats sorry. My preference are yorkies, maltese and simillar dogs.My neighbor had 2 cats and everytime I visited, I always took time to pet them and they would come and sit near me so I could keep rubbing them These kids supposably love animals but don't know how to treat them. It was crystal clear that day. It wasn't an animal thing it was a huge discipline problem over everything they did in their home. No meant yes to them and that's exactly what they did. Jumping in the pool with sharp poles and stuff like that was a disaster waiting to happen. Now I can understand why at their last b-day party ,we were the only guests there.Nobody else came, just us... Thankfully I don't have to go through that again and my husband totally understands why now. He actually paid attention to what was happening and he was shocked lol Genie Cookie Lola Angel |
